    A loss! Of 1.8kg!!

My readings are a bit all over the place, because I lost 5.5kg over the pre season, but then did my weigh at night, and "gained" one, so overall I've lost about 6kg, but from the kick off it's 1.8kg lost.

And PZ - I concur. Leave the current goal, to give yourself breathing room if you plateau for a bit, but latitude to smash it and add a further goal if you so desire

    GO TEAM!!!

Now - who is going to do The Stampede with me in October? Google it. Then sign up.

I've signed and paid up for the first wave of the Melbourne 10km leg. Come on, girls!

Highly recommend Stampede! It was so much fun, I'm definitely doing it again this year.
I did Tough Mudder a few weeks ago too, but Stampede was just good muddy fun! Great to do in a team so you can all help each other out.

I'm doing a half marathon in Oct for Melbourne marathon so not sure how that will fit with stampede timing wise.

I'm doing it with DH and my sister again. We did it last year, but the 5km version, and we literally had to hoist each other up and over some things ... but we did it! And in about 1hr 50min, which is pretty good! And the only thing I didn't go was the rock climbing walls - I got up the first one, but then saw that there's nothing to climb down with - it's a sheer drop, and I was quite concerned I'd damage an ankle due to my weight, so I climbed back down, and walked around them.

I should be at least 20kg lighter by then (6kg so far ) and much fitter.

Still not sure that I'll run (as I just don't like it ...) but nothing's final - who knows, if I lose as much weight as I intend to, I might start doing the running training program, and even learn to like it ... anything is possible!

I'm doing the Mad Cow Mud Run on 10 March, want to do Tough Mudder and the Stampede this year as well (those two depend on certain things happening or not happening). I'm not going on retreat this year, so don't have to worry about where I'll be Oct/Nov this year.

I so would love to do tough mudder or the likes but with Miss K's dependency on me at the moment, I'll have to assess closer to the date if I could leave her. I guess I could play with expressing and see if she will take a bottle.....

    Nai does the vego plan

So who has done their vision board? I've just posted mine in the thread on the forum. Looking back at my last one, I can see how far I've come in terms of mind-set and focus.

I was supposed to have the chicken & guacamole wrap for lunch today, but left the mountain bread at home, so made little wraps with the lettuce leaves.

    Saturday. Come along!!

I had chicken and beef pho for lunch. And I was still wanting something (but not really hungry) so instead of sharing rice paper rolls, I got a coke zero, and then walked back to the office

    Yay me!

Crappy day here :/ Managed to stick to the food all day with with no slip ups, despite wanting to comfort myself with chocolate.
Didn't make it to the gym, on 3rd glass of red wine. Fail

Didn't make the gym either- was at work until about 10pm. Then had mountain bread with cottage cheese tomato and ham with a banana for dinner and went to bed.

And I have a meeting tonight so won't get a work out today either.

Keep reminding yourself what a huge improvement you're already making.

    Hehe, good point.

Crumpet, I see it as wallking around the shops for an hour is much better then sitting on your bum for an hour. And 1 slice of pizza, go you! I would never be able to stop at 1 I'm with you, today WILL be better.

Feeling much more positive today, thank goodness! I woke up feeling thinner (as silly as that sounds!) so I weighted myself. Down a little bit, so that has given me a good start to the day.
I need to try and keep to the weekly weigh ins. Every morning all I want to do is jump on the scales and its pointless. Will be much more exciting to wait it out.

    Happy Friday

I am hanging out for the pizza tonight. Got the beginnings of shin splints, felt them as I walked from the office to the gym, managed a short session at the gym before walking home to stretch and ice them.

Today has been meh food-wise. I've not eating anything bad, but I know I'm not on schedule for the calorie intake.

No training tonight as I'm running a SSS session tomorrow with my training buddies at the park, so will need to be there early to set-up so need the sleep!

0.2 down. Not surprising given lack of sleep, exercise and kids birthdays. Will be ramping it up this week though. Am looking forward to tomorrow Sopdet!

Just took my photo (kept forgetting to buy a paper) O M G gross! I know it will be good to have in the long run, but not sure I can bring myself to put in on my 12wbt profile.

Of course, join the group, theres a link in this thread, and I'll grab it for you iin a sec.

The before photo stays private in your account. If you want to share in the forums, you can. But the only other person who has seen my pics are my dh, and that was a few weeks after each round finished.
