Actually I might do 6 tonight and do 8 Saturday morning, so I can do the pee-naked-weigh thing and get the paper for the photo, etc.
But the diarising can be tonight.
6mins 14seconds for a 1km row. Thought I'd change the method this round.
Yay just over 7 minutes to run 1km I didn't even know I could run a km
Just requested to join the Facebook group tooI'm going to do my fitness test first thing tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it!!
I love the new shopping lists!!!!!! I'm one happy camper now, I don't have to print it out and scribble out what I don't need. Also if you view the mobile site you can tick off when you have purchased things (or if you have them in your cupboard/fridge prior to shopping). This used to be the most annoying thing for me, especially when I change out meals due to likes/dislikes and intolerance/allergy.
ETA: posted on FB group about purchasing mountain breadIf you're not on the group PM me and I'll let you know (since I can't post commercial links)

Shopped online yesterday and picked up my groceries via click & collect - love it! The only issue is they didn't have all the things I needed and I don't substitute for like products, so I'll have to head to the shops tomorrow to finalise my shop for the week.
Am going to make up the lamb koftas and crustless blueberry cheesecakes this weekend so this is one less meal I have to prepare.
Getting excited now!
We are picking up shopping tomorrow and making a bulk of the kofta meat so we can freeze ahead
I love how it really puts into focus how eating healthy isn't that much more usually on a weekly shop we spend $60 this time it was $80 but that's doubling something's up to make bulk and freeze
Questions:-
1. So we buy snacks ON TOP of that? 1 x 150 calorie snack per day?
2. Is that shopping list assuming that we're making EVERY meal for two people, or just some?
The shopping list is to make the every recipe on the menu.
Normally, the recipe will serve 2. Sometimes (like with the lasagne etc) the recipe makes 4,5,6 portions.
So the shopping list is for 2 people or every recipe for the week. Savvy?
Yes, snacks are additional to the shopping list. There is a list somewhere on the site of some options for those.
Thanks Limey, i was hoping someone would explain the gist of it, and you have, exactly what i was wondering about too. thank you for taking the time to explain it, much appreciated. I'm wondering about doing it too. Doubt if i can do the exercise part, but figure, even if i only do it for the healthier eating part, it's bound to be an improvement, on what i'm doing/not doing, right now.
the live video chat, is that SKYPE? (i cannot figure SKYE out).
are weetbix ok for the 12week breakfast? i usually have two weetbix with few blueberries and milk.
Glad the Burgen bread is ok. i buy the pumpkin burgen bread, when it's on the clearance trolley (like for $1.69).
Do the fridgesmart containers work well in the freezer Sopdet? i use the containers available from supermarkets (e.g sistema and decor) for the freezer, and they get so much ice inside them.
Do you have to have scales (to weigh yourself) to do this program?
So long as your breakfast is around the 300 calorie mark then you are fine. My daily brekky is a bowl of cereal and yoghurt, and I weigh everythig out, and it comes in under the 300 mark, which allows me a second coffee
You weigh in every week, so scales are handy.![]()
Feeling sick today. Like, really sick.
Not sure if something has disagreed with me, or if I'm hungry, or if I'm actually sick.
How can you tell?
I had the banana bruchetta, and I had a coffee too (figure it's part of my 150 cal of snacks ...) and I've had a bottle of water.
I am hungry, but surely not hungry enough to feel nauseous ... ? I don't normally have a big brekky - just oats and fruit ... less calories than the banana bruchetta actually.
Anyone else feeling crummy?
I have a love hate relationship with bananas. I can't eat them on an empty stomach, and can't eat them if I drink a glass of juice - makes me vomit. I don't get it, I luuurve banana smoothies/bread/cakes, but I just cannot stomach them whole, plain and on an empty stomach. So I went with the banana smoothie this morning, as I do most mornings during the programme.
Your ricotta wasn't off? Maybe the ricotta/banana/coffee curdle is a bit much. Do you work out in the mornings before or after you eat? How much water did you drink?
I hope you aren't really sick! But it will take some time to get used to not eating so much. Feel better soon!! x
PN I woke up ill too, except I had awful stomach cramps and some unhappy toilet time lol. Trying to not let it get in my way though. I'm so not a brekky person, and I don't like changing up my brekky so I'm going to stick with my 1 cup of Special K, half a cut up banana and some blueberries. Sometimes a smoothie or green juice.
I've also had a headache since I woke up (and on and off for almost 2 weeks now actually - blood test results tonight) and I had a crap nights sleep ...
I normally love bananas!
The cottage cheese was fine, brand new, all good ... the combination might be the issue, but I'd be surprised as I usually have white coffee in the mornings with my oats and blueberries.
I drank about 700ml water.
FX PZ and I both feel heaps better very soon ...
i felt horrid after my work out, like i was going to vomit.
but i waited a hour then had breaky ( i had the banana bruscetta) and it made me more full than my usual 2 weet bix and milk! winning!
hope your feeling better now![]()
did anyone do the work out video this morning? it was full on but i feel great now
