One of the challenges (maybe last week?) was to halve your non water drinks...I'm ashamed to say I didn't even attempt it!
    Define non-water ...

Eg: I count my decaf-with-artificial sweetener as water, as that's basically what it is (ditto for herbal teas). But I wouldn't count pepsi max or white decaf or any real coffee etc as water ... is that cheating? Is it literally anything that isn't plain water?

I'd say anything that isn't plain water BF is making that easier for me, DD2 is fussy as if I eat or drink anything fun lol. I'd only have maybe one glass of oj a day anyway, but that's gone now.

Yeah I assumed (maybe wrongly) that it was anything that wasn't plain water. I cannot do without my lattes at the moment! Definitely need to up my water consumption though.

Seems there are a good number of us in Melbourne, is anyone interested in forming a group to participate in some events together?
Thought I would set up a FB group and anyone who wants to join can do so? There are some really great events coming up in the next few months! Could also organise to do the fitness tests together, which can be fun.

Sounds good Limey, I'd be up for all of that!

Tomorrow morning I'm getting my butt up and going for my walk. I'm pooping myself that I'll just be too tired and unmotivated. Need to remind myself no matter how tired I am that it's just a walk. I can do that!

    Re: 12WBT February 2013

ok, so i'm really starting to stress about what is actually involved in this 12wbt and wondering if i've done the right thing in signing up for it

my logical mind tells me that yes i've made the right decision and this will benefit me immensley, however there is the nagging voice in my head that says i'm wasting my time and money because i'm a serial starter of things and not following through when they get too hard

anyway just wanted to vent and get it off my chest. . .thanks for listening/reading.

ETA: LS i'd definitely be interested in a group - i need both the support and motivation!

GW I feel the same way. I'm worried I'll try to justify using my DD's as an excuse for why I 'can't' do everything I want to.

There will be some weeks that are worse than others and sometimes you may fall down, but that is why we all need support to help us get back up and keep going anyway. None of us are perfect and it is hard to change habits.
    Baby steps!
