Well I have finally got the.money and have signed up. Next 2 weeks will be interesting as we are away on holidays but will try and stay focused.
Looking forward to doing this with you girls :-)
Well, I have been truly slack and unmotivated since joining :-/
So today I decided to JFDI and get out there and go for a walk before I went home and got stuck into housework and other stuff. I walked up to our local Coles and back which took about 80 minutes, not sure about the kms though. Will have to track them in the car next time I have to head up that way.
Have made good food choices today. Had a tuna & salad for lunch which has kept me feeling fuller.
Will join the fb group next time I log on, thanks for setting up LS

yay! more peeps!
Week 4 challenge is easy for me. My eating habits aren't tooooo bad, it's just remembering to write them down.
I never realised how much I ate at night. Think I may need to start eating dinner after the boys go to bed, instead of with them. We usually all eat around 5pm, 6pm at the absolute latest and that's a rarity. So by the time I'm sitting down with my feet up my tummy is rumbling! I am genuinely hungry so maybe eating later will help. But then I feel bad I'm not eating 'as a family'
Welcome! Don't forget to join the facebook page that Lime has set up for us : https://www.facebook.com/groups/328591777254723/
You are lucky because food is my biggest downfall. I am happy to exercise and was seeing a personal trainer twice a week prior to falling pg but I just eat to eat....
We eat at 6pm too and I feel hungry around 8pm, so I eat....lol :-/ I really want to keep eating together as a family so I will try to work out to eat something healthy and filling around that time.... perhaps yoghurt??
I didn't walk yesterday but I went to Chadstone SC and walked around there for a few hours, so that would have helped & at least I wasn't sitting on the couch or eating! I'll head off later today when Miss K wakes for her arvo feed as I have been motivated and done most of the household chores and the likes this morning. Just got to battle that ironing pile, which I'll do tonight in front of the t.v.
Last two days we've been in and out of hospital with DS1 (who is going to be fine) but accordingly my diet has been a mish mash of fruit, bakery items, coffee and pepsi max.
Oops.
Will do better now.
yes saw your other thread PN hope your little man is making a swift recovery
have you joined the FB group that LS created?
eek...Mich has just unlocked the first of the pre season tasks- it's all getting real now!!
I keep thinking about this thread, I'm really tempted to do it. But... I don't want to join up and spend the money if I won't stick to it! The added BB support makes it all the more tempting!
i was exactly the same nickle! i bit the bullet and signed up in order to make myself accoubtable and i guess 'force' myself to do something about my weight. and now that preseason has officially opened mich has a list of things about excuses etc which is really helping me follow through with the accountability stuff.
you need to want to do it for yourself![]()
Pre-season has kicked off and I am excited but also nervous because now I can't hide behind 'I've just had a baby' excuse that I have been telling myself. DD is nearly 3 months old and that line ain't gonna spin for much longer!
Nickle - if you don't want to join, just hang in here with us anyway and we'll support you!
I need to quit that excuse too ... and my DSs are 10 and 30 months old!! My excuse has been 2 babies and 2 surgeries and 2 traumas in 2 years ...
But now I'm trying to focus on 2 sizes in 2 months![]()
But I'll need my cheer squad
As for the FB group, I'm not ready yet. Maybe next round. Comfortable to do it here with a bit more anonymity!
Thought I may join the convo, Im currently doing round 4, Im going to give round 1 a miss, but thats because I want to see if I can do this on my own and after two rounds I think Im ready for it, well I hope Im ready for it.So this round I am printing everything off and making folders of it all so I can follow along. If I find I need help I will join up for round 2.
I'm doing it again this round. Took a break on the round over xmas, but back at it in a big way![]()
yaaay welcome ladies!
Sopdet - was it hard to follow? i know i'll only get out what I put in, but as a rough guide??
nah not hard to follow, everything you need is given to you, including a shopping list weekly.
The menu plans are great (both normal and vego ones), keeping to the 1200cals (or 1500-1800 cals if you are pregnant/bf) is the thing I struggled with, I had to force myself to eat that much, but I felt way better when I did feed my body properly.
The exercise plans are also brilliant, you get the choice of outdoors, at home, gym machines & gym classes. Doing your fitness test at the start properly is one thing you must make sure you do, as it helps you monitor your journey, you do another at 4, 8 & 12 weeks. I cut 1 minute off my time trial (which is a 1km walk/run) over the 12 weeks.
The pre-season is brilliant, she helps you to put things in place to allow you to succeed during the 12 weeks.
The last round I did I lost 6kgs but also lost 50cm off my body, so as I've said to friends doing it, don't be so stressed about the scales if your fitness levels are increasing and you are losing cms.
