oh god who brought up that - LUCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I posted about a while ago - I had a shower with a pair of my stilettos on and it made me feel FANTASTIC! totally sexy

After a bit of a bg weekend, but still being reasonably good- ie. turning down a piece of white choc mudcake and just trying to manage what I eat when I am away from home, I fully got back on the wagon today, I have started to count calories- I am on 1200, and i have realised (finally after all these years) that if you make the right food choices, it is actualley plenty of food and you can be quite satisfied on that many calories. For me the big thing is going to be about organisation- plannin out my meals and snacks to stop the impulse eating.

I had PT session #4 today, and imagine my horror after we had done our warm up and we had walked across to the other side of the park to see a street with a big hill on it, and hearing my trainer say he expected us to run (or power walk, you can choose to be a walker or runner) up and down it . However, I have to say by the end of it, I was actualley ENJOYING it who would have thought I would find running up and down a hill in public enjoyable. Who am I and what have I done with myself?

You girls are all amazing. I am feeling a little low with DH been away and TBH havent been doing much to help myself. I am finding it really hard to exercise though i am still resisting the junk. I don't think i am eating enough though TBH. I am just too dam lazy to cook for myself when DH isn't here iykwim. Well off to MIL's for tea and she knows i'm on this challenge so hopefully she has taken that into account for me. I might also see if she will watch my girls for a bit so i can at least go for a walk. I did go shopping this mo and bought some more salad stuff and the ingredients i need for sushi as i LOVE sushi and i thought it might be good to have for lunch or dinner in the coming days. I dont know how i have gone this last week with weight and cm's etc i dont think very well but i guess i wont know till i get on those scales on Wed.
    Take care everyone

Hey Hoody - Just on the topic of sushi. I heard a scientist talking about it and saying that cold, cooked rice (and potatos) actually change how the metabolism works - making it metabolise fat before other energy sources. Sounds good to me!! I love sushi too.

Thanks for the pick-up Lucy, you're fantastic! I do feel so much better about myself for doing all this!

And you girls, just reading this thread keeps me motivated. I SO wanted some chocolate tonight, but I'm going to settle for WATER!!! Bring it on girls! Bring it! (And we're all gonna look like those little cheerleaders by the time this is over - perhaps with a few extra years(more if I'm honest LOL) but WE WILL!)

I just got back from an optional mid break weigh in with my personal trainer. (We have 6 weeks off over Christmas). I was CRAPPING myself to be honest, LOL!

But its all good. I put on 0.1kg only, my body fat has reduced, and my hydration levels and muscle have gone UP, which is good, so I am happy.

I am also on day 12 of no cigarettes and so I am feeling very proud of myself.

Girls, whilst I remember: I am AWAY over the next 10 days. I will still have access to the internet and my email etc, but we are holidaying at my IL's so my routine will be all over the place.

I am still planning on tallying all the results by Thursday though. But bear with me if there is a bit of a delay.

Please pm me your measurements and weigh in figures by Wedsnesday night.

Hi girls, you all sound like you are doing great!! Well done to all of you. I did my meal planning for the week this morning and DP and I did the shopping and had the best WW Prawn Fetta Penne (Rhianon, it is in this month's WW mag) - only 7 points!

Did I mention I love WW...oh and I love WW...I can eat a variety of things and have a treat too!

Anyway I'm on Day 3, Week 3 today. Hoping to lose another kilo by Wednesday and some more cm's. Walked 4.5hrs this week already so still have 4 days of walking plenty.

Thinking of you all and hoping for a great weigh in on Wednesday for you all

Ok.. I am holding out the back of my hand and I expect a swift slap from all of you!!!!!!

It was my Mum's birthday last night and I ate a MAGNUM EGO for dessert!!! I don't EVER eat them - even when I am not watching my weight because I know how bad they are. How did this happen???? I will hang my head in shame today...

I went for an hour walk afterwards and powered up a hill without stopping on the way home - I know how it feels to suddenly feel "good" Ali!!

Today I am going to be incredibly strict on what I eat and I'm even going to go for a walk at lunch. It's supposed to be the hottest day on record here today (47) but I don't think it will get past 40. I guess I'll find out at lunch!!

Question for you all - what are your favourite workout songs?? I have found that listening to fast, upbeat music actually makes me walk faster because I pound the pavement to the beat. I would love some suggestions.. At the moment I'm listening to alot of Pink and Gwen Stefani.

Well i've been bad... very bad... This weekend was a HUGE disaster... DP got back from being away and we basically spent the weekend doing nothing and just enjoying our time together... No excercise at all... and a bit of junk but worst of all was the coke... I had been so good with NO coke at all and this weekend had to spoil it... Oh well tyhe best thing to do its pick myself up and dust myself off and try again... Its a new day and i have to start somewhere... You ladies give me more and more motivation to just keep trying... Its the not tyrying that got me here... Time to change things....

Everyone is doing so well... Keep it up ladies

Sounds like many of us seem to be in a similar place - making bad food choices but the worst thing being we are in REAL DANGER of letting this get to our state of mind. DO NOT let a few bad days get to you. We are talking about your whole life hear, girls - a whole life to be healthy and happy, and yes, it does suck that we have fallen off our respective wagons - but lets get back up there and ride off into the sunset towards our fabulous new selves. A few slip us does not a fat ar$e make LOL! You are all already on the way to a new healthy version of yourself just by being here - you all deserve a big hand

Now, today is a new day - get to it girls

I went out last last night for some "cardio" exercise
Will go for a run this arvo, then I need to do a major clean in this place as I've got a "guest" coming over tomorrow afternoon after work, then we're going out to dinner with friends which will be lots of fun

    Everyone is going so well!!
I have been going okay, trying to do more exercise when I can. Even some arm exercises with cans when I'm watching the TV (my problem area )
My DD is deciding that she doesn't want daytime naps anymore so I am trying to include her in the workouts in the hope it tires her out

I think I am out of the challenge aspect... I was very excited to receive a BFP this morning!! I have even more motivation to eat healthy now - at least this explains the 3.5cm increase in my bust last week!

    Good luck girls!
