Well i have sent of my measurements. Dismall weigt loss but ok cm lost. Pretty happy seeing as i haven't really started exercising yet. First gym session today, planning on going to a class. I have a friend coming along and our motivation is to look good in swimmers before the kids start swimming lessons. Her dd is a month younger than ds do i have two months! Dunno if i will be able to walk tomorrow, already told dh that he might need to take tomorrow off to look after ds and i but he said that his wife being unfit is not a reason to miss work
MK I think CQ is busy at the moment with moving house as she promised to give me some tips in a thread i had here a couple weeks agao but she hasn't managed to get online yet. But i agree, CQ help us!
Cherished1 thats what i am doing with the measurements using string and builders tape. do yu think its time to invest in a tape measure?? he he
Good luck to everyone else weighing in today hope we all are on the road to weight loss!!
Hmmm I had a weight gain and I'm not happy about that, but I had a feeling that I would. My oldest DS was taken to hospital on Mother's Day night after knocking himself out so we were there for 4hrs and we had crappers(maccas) for dinner on the way home and when I'm stressed I eat, I've had him home yesterday and today so am trying to eat better and exercise again.
I did lose some cms though so that is good.
Ali yay for been able to TTC #3 at the end of the year, that will be great
Isabel B hahahahah now I thought I would be the only one too stingy to buy a proper measuring tape At least we are committed hehehehhe They are only about $1 from a cheap shop of supermarket... I will buy one tomorrow.
Well done to everyone who has stuck at it for the 1st week YAY

Morning! I am soo suprised by my loss - maybe I should be sick more often, my body must be burning more calories to fight it, I have NEVER lost more than half a kilo in a week and I've lost almost 3 times that. Not that many cm's though - 2 off my boobs, 1 off the waist, none off the hips (typical) Ah well, I'd love to be able to get back into a D cup, none of the pretty mainstream bras go to DD. Think by looks of it most of it off the lower part of my tummy which I didn't measure so don't know what there. Bracing myself for a plateau next week though as a result, but after 5 months of being depressed about not losing ANY baby weight, am very happy to see the start of results.
Yes Sas when you are sick or post-surgical procedures your body uses fat to fight infection and keep you going, so congratulations! Sounds great. Don't prep yourself for a plateau it's only more likely to happen, positive affirmations girl!!
Aaamy was it you that asked about the Mexican? Yup I love it, mostly because I havent eaten rice in almost 2 years and I have had real cravings for it, has been great it really keeps my body going and going.
at you girls with the string and measures! Isabel is right, at least you are committed. If you both PM me your addresses I will send you a measuring tape (although I say that I will forget to buy them when I go out, part of your problem )
Turkish 500gm is still fantastic. Healthy weight loss is said to be 1% of your body weight per week so if you are almost at the end thats not too dismal. IKWYM about it taking forever though. I remember back when I used to sit at 65kg... I finally got to 60kg and felt great... then started taking the pill and the weight piled on.
I haven't weighed or measured yet. I have been using the Wiifit everyday though so have a fair idea it's not going to be a good one. I lost 500gm at the beginning of the week and then put on 700gms... so I would say it is a gain but I guess we will see. I blame my bad weekend, but we all have slip ups and it just makes us work harder!
well I've already sent my results in, but I have since done two BIG no.2s... can't help but wonder if I weigh less now!!!!!
Sorry but I just had to share that!
Turkish Delight - go girl using the Wii Fit everyday, that's impressive! I shall have to aspire to that... I'm also with you on weighing everyday . I find sometimes I just have a huge variation for no apparent reason at all - fluid retention I guess . If I only weigh myself once a week it can be very discouraging, but when I weigh most days, I know if I'm heading the right direction or not.
Sas - that's great loss, well done!
cherished1 - lol on the tape measure!!! hahaha!
AmandaJ - congrats on the cm's lost... we can do it!!!
Belfie I know what you mean about the #2's! I think the same thing hahahahha but then I just think 'oh well next week there will be an even bigger loss on the scales' heheheh
