Kate07 and ZF: I'm glad you guys are enjoying your walks!! I love walking, too, and it does get so much easier with time, doesn't it? I remember the times when we were driving around for 10 minutes or more looking for a 'close park' at the shopping centre. Now I just take the first car park I find and walk the rest. And you know what? It takes less time walking than it takes finding a closer park! Hehe

Appletree: Thanks hun The nutmeat patties were an experiment lol, you can read about it in this thread Nutmeat patties. Nutmeat is a bit funny, and I think I'll experiment with some chickpea/lentils patties until I get it right. Will forward the recipe once I'm happy with it!! I'm still learning! But sometimes when I'm short on time I just buy lime and sweet chilli veggo patties from the supermarket. They are in the fridge section and are from sanitarium. THEY ARE AWESOME! Fry 'em up and put them on a wholemeal roll with lettuce and onion and whatever else you want. Soo yummy and soo easy!

I have been avoiding this thread, as it has been my time of the month (I don't get periods, but still get hormonal fluxes where I can't stop eating, and wouldn't lose weight anyway even if I did). I'm back on track today, ready for lots of water and fibre to clear out all the bloating I have picked up. Will not weigh in tomorrow most likely, but will be back next week

well I must be doing something right, jumped on Wii Fit this morning to weigh myself (don't have any scales!), after stuffing around trying to find charged batteries for the balance board and remotes
Told me I've lost 3.8kg since the last time I weighed myself (which was probably a good few months ago), even though it doesn't feel like it to me. I'm not so much worried about how much I weigh, more how I look but I guess looking at how much I have lost is at least a guide as to how I'm going!

Raupe- I haven't had any sleep time snacks the last few days, and haven't had any after dinner snacks/dessert either. I find at night if I sit on BB/FB for long enough after DD is in bed then suddenly it becomes too late to eat anything else before bed
During the day I've been trying to keep busy by doing my sewing projects. I think it's much harder when you don't really have anything to do (that you can't do when kids are awake itms), that's when I wander into the kitchen and think what can I eat..lol. Also don't have any biscuits/chocolate/slices etc that I can snack on either. I'm in if you are

    Hi all!

Had the biggest pig out last night, we went to the drive in to see HP7 and not only took our chips and m&ms, but DH packed a whole lot of cheese and salami too. So do you think I could resist? Sitting in the car for three hours? Yeah, right. So yeah, walked FAST today I haven't walked for a few days so it felt good to be out, not looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow.

ss_storm - welcome and great weight loss there! That's huge motivation! I only buy chocolate for our Saturday night munchies, and I've never really been one to buy biscuits. Ice cream is out, frozen yoghurt is in our freezer!

Morning everyone how are we feeling for today's results?
I have cleared my inbox so if everyone could PM me their details for this week and i promise i WILL put the results up by wednesday.

How are we all going, those people we haven't heard from in a while.. how are you doing?

Well for me i am back on track now i am home and had a loss this week... 14.kg down to 97.5

DP says to me last night.. i've made a decision i want to be 100kg by my birthday (April).. yep ok then he goes on to tell me NO MORE big meals, mainly meat and veg or salad, no horrible snacks etc.
Umm hate to tell you buddy but I haven't been snacking and those MOTHERS you drink every day are a NO GO.. also maybe eat b/w meals and you MIGHT loose some weight.

When i said i've lost like 4kg he said uh i don't think so... I DO IDIOT I'VE BEEN TRACKING IT!
So i'm going to make him get on the scale tomorrow morning after his shower and then I will and we can BOTH see where we are at ahhh yes just some more motivation for me... so tonight it's steak with veg

No loss from me this week, not surprised really, but no gain. Well done to everyone again!

Oh it's not that, the funny part is he thinks i sabotage him... like last time we were 'thinking' about loosing weight i bought ice cream.. he thinks i do it on purpose.. i mentioned i had not been buying snacks etc and i'm loosing weight and he's like WHATEVER... ummm IDIOT!
Can't wait for him to get on the scales, he's easily 20kg heavier than i am.

PacRakMG: No gain is still good. YAY!

    Mummasue: Great work!

    Appletree: Woohoo

ZF: Way to go, ZF! You're going wonderfully. To me it doesn't sound like he's very supportive of your weightloss. Even if you had of only lost 100g he should still be all like "great job" (sorry, just my opinion. Sorry if It's completely off track. )

    As for me:
I've lost about 1kg this week. So I'm down to 84kg so. I'm happy with that.
Hoping for a good week this week too.

Haven't done any measurements this week. Might skip that till next week and crossing my fingers there are so biggish losses here and there. Wooooo!

He doesn't really know about the challenge and i wasn't making a big deal aside from him knowing i was walking... after his "look at your guts, WE need to loose weight" comment i decided STUFF YOU and now here i am.
I am doing this for me.. i am so sick of looking the way i do, not feeling healthy etc... so it was that little extra motivation i needed.

Ah yes he's not overly supportive but oh well.... i'm doing it on my own and that suits me just fine.

Go everyone! That is fantastic results!! I am so proud of us all

ZF, my DF is the same, not at all supportive of me, but to make things worse he is thin and trying to bulk up so eats like a horse and all the wrong stuff too... I am not really talking to him about it either, but he has made some encouraging comments recently so that was nice!

traveller, that sounds really hard to manage!

Have just done my measurements and am feeling pretty good, wish i had done them before eating lunch though as my waist measurement must be from all of the food its trying to process! I had a super yummy chicken salad wrap with a mango for lunch today, and also a few little christmas chocolates Not sure what we are going to have for dinner, that will be my next stop! Steak and salad sounds yummy! Or maybe i can do a chicken salad with some roast zucchini and pumpkin through it? Mmmm.

    Totals lost so far are:

    Over Bust: 6cm
    Under bust: 2cm
    Waist: 5cm
    Hips: 6cm
    Arms: 0cm
    Thighs: 4cm

I am getting closer and closer to my first goal- to fit into a Witchery size 14. I am only 4cm away from their waist measurement, and 2cm on hips. I don't think i will be making the bust measurements anytime soon though, i am still 16cm off! Maybe once DS weans i will be a bit closer, but its funny cos i have always found their tops to be quite generous in the bust, but their size guide has them to be quite small. I am soooo looking forward to be able to just walk in and buy whatever i like, rather than searching through the racks for things that are cut the right way to fit me, and then giving up and settling on something cheap from kmart or target because it comes in a larger size!

ZF - You need to set him up. Next time you're somewhere or got people over, get a guy to woof whistle you!!! That might grab DP's attention!

Appletree - Well done! Hope you have that shopping spree soon at Witchery!

    Jewel - Great stuff!

    MummaSue - Well done!

I just realised I won't be around next Monday for the weigh in, so two weeks for me. Got a camping trip this weekend, so I can imagine some bad food will be digested

Haven't been for my walk today, had things to do this morning and too hot now. Will wait for tonight.
