well done everyone (except for me )

I have a confession..I seriously considered dropping out of the challenge...I'm just finding it really hard to stick to eating healthily and not snacking on junk, hence why I didn't lose anything...Wii Fit kept telling me I'd lost a bit but then the next time I weighed in it would be back up again so I think it just depended on the time of day i was doing it. Haven't measured myself but I'm guessing it would still be the same.
I know I want to lose the baby weight, and I don't have all that much to get rid of, it's just sticking with eating properly that I think is tripping me up. I am addicted to chocolate which doesn't help, and DF isn't that supportive despite saying to me that if I wanted to lose the weight I could (and yeah showing me a pic of your "hot" cousin who has 3 kids but doesn't look it and has lost 23 kg in 7 months then telling me I could do it just as easily (not that I have that much to lose) doesn't really help!)

Sorry for the pity post...I really want to be happy with the way I look but can't seem to find the motivation for long enough to actually do something about it. I do exercise most days, taking the dog for a walk and pushing the pram for at least an hour, plus walking to the shops if I have to go there, I carry DD around a fair bit and have been doing the Wii Fit challenge, but obviously that's not enough if I keep eating the way I do.

SS...please don't give up! You are fitting in lots of great excercise

Maybe you could set yourself some small goals this week eg, if you snack a lot between meals on 'bad' food, maybe you could just reduce the amount that you snack on? Or you could try to have one good day and then allow yourself a treat or 2 the following day? Before you know it, you will have started to break some bad habits and will feel much better.

I have a long way to go and have developed some really bad snacking habits after having DS and found myself eating icecream or chocolate every night I have not forbidden myself from eating them but have really tried to cut down the amount that I eat if I do have some and to make sure that it is not every night.

I also find that reading what everyone else is up to really keeps me on track and motivates me.

Stick with it, I'm sure you'll do great

    Great ideas Hollo!

SS babe, hang in there. Even a tiny change every day makes a difference. Exercise was the main hangup for lots of us, so you're ahead of the race anyway.

Woo hoo Bella! Fiji sounds awesome!

Well yesterday I was still too sore to go for a jog so I got on the exercise bike and did a 30 min program with hills. It was pretty hard but I was happy with how I went because I pumped my arms as well and really felt the session. Tonight I have soccer training so it will interesting to see how my calf handles it. Fingers crossed with a good warm up I will be fine.
Started counting calories and so far am doing fine. Have a big headache today so I think my body might be detoxing a little.
    OK. Catch up tomorrow!

Bella: That is awesome! What a great motivator for you!!!

Went to the gym this morning for our personal program thing. Didn't work up much of a sweat, it was more showing us all the equipment and what we would be doing. I think we are planning on taking classes a few mornings a week, and working out in the gym a few nights a week.

I came home and ended up doing my aerobics DVD since I didn't really feel like I'd worked out. Nice a sweaty and gross now, lol.

Keep up the great work everyone!!!
