I went to an awesome class last night and although I am sore - I feel FANTASTIC!!
It was a high intensity step aerobics class and the sweat was DRIPPING off me by the end of it! I was pleased that I could keep up though, considering it was a class for her regulars (so not really for beginners!). We're going to go again on Tuesday so I can have a big workout before weighin the next day.
I was SO hungry afterwards so DH took me out for Japanese at about 9pm. It was a bit late to eat but I had to have something!!
no walking for me today! It's raining!
Rhianon, seems to be clearing up now! I hope so because I want to go for another 1.5hour walk like yesterday!![]()
Girls - don't let the rain deter you!!
I was hesitant about going out in the rain too but it ended up being the best walk/jog I have had. You can push yourself HARDER because the rain keeps you cool.
CombatQueen ran me through my program last night, I've just eaten my lite'n'easy breakfast (muesli + toast with marmalade), now I'm off to work with my morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea (all lite'n'easy)
the only reason i didn't want to walk in the rain, coz i have jensen with me and i don't have a rain cover. If it does stop raining we'll go out to the corner shop, coz we need milk.
I've stepped up my weight training and oh boy do I feel sore today. I've also ordered in a Wii fit so I can't wait til that comes in. I really want to get out and do some walking, but I only have a single pram and DD1 just can't keep out for the level of walk I want to be doing. What kind of cardio exercise can I do at home?
Captain - skipping is hard work but great cardio and you dont have to do it for too long to get your heart rate up, a bit hard on the knees though
just realsied I entered lucy's email wrong with my measurementsoh well Ill send through next weeks to the right address
Rhianon, yes I don't have a rain cover eitherit is not raining now though but so humid out there. will walk later when it is cooler

Captain - why don't you try looking up some aerobics (or similar) videos on youtube?
Head to your local library and grab some exercise dvds/videos there. They are free and you can try a few different brands/styles to see what you like. I like crunch pilates dvd.
It stopped raining just before nine, so got in a 30 min walk. omg the sweat poured off me, and I know it wasn't the exersize (shame tho!) Least I can say I got in my 30 mins!
WW ladies! I'm craving sweets! I want to make something, rather than buy it! What can I make!?!? I love chocolate, and I thought about the peanut butter slice, but I don't have all the right ingredients!
Peanut butter slice - makes 24 serves. Each serve = 4points
1 1/3 cup plain white flour
1/3 cup plain wholemeal flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup reduced-fat peanut butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup caster sugar
2/3 cup reduced-fat butter spread
2 whole whole egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup skim milk
3/4 cup icing sugar
* Preheat oven to 170C. Line a 22cmx 30cm slice tin with non-stick baking paper and set aside.
* Combine flour, wholemeal flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a medium size bowl. Add oats, toss and set aside.
* Combine 3/4 cup peanut butter, brown sugar, caster sugar and 1/2 cup butter in a large bowl. Beater using electric beaters until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and beat for a further minute.
* Add half flour mixture to peanut butter mixture, then half milk, beating until just incorporated. Repeat with remaining flour mixture and milk, until well combined. Spread mixture into prepared tin and bake for approx 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre of slice comes out clean. Transfer to a rack.
* Meanwhile, to make icing: combine remaining peanut butter and butter in a medium size microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high until butter is melted, about 30 seconds. Whisk until smooth. Add icing sugar and 1 tbs water and whisk again until smooth. Immediately spread icing evenly over slice. Set aside to set. Cut into 24 squares.
I only have ordinary flour, and no skim milk (only whole milk), and I'm probably almost out of peanut butter.... Do you think if I cut it smaller, it's worth less points smaller slice?

OOOOHHHHH you've made me want something sweet now..that sounds really yummy. I definately don't have the right ingredients. But like you I have to start to make my own treats so much better for the kids and us.
Punkin, you are doing great I did lite an easy after I had Sophie as a kick start to lossing weight again, I had lost about8 kgs and came to a halt, it was great, so easy lol, very nice not having to cook.
Go girls you are all really focused< i have to get out tonight and do a walk.
Queenbee, 20cms if a fantastic effort...it must be really hekping keep you motivated. I can't remember who has lost 22cm but again a fantastic effort, congrats.
Thanks Pam, feeling awesome. WW weigh in is tomorrow so hopefully I have lost some more.
Rhianon, if you want something sweet, freddo frogs (not filled ones) are only 1.5 points!
I had a kickboxing session today, and man it felt awesome, of all 3 of the different sessions I do over the week, it would definatly be my most favourite.
I had a pretty good day today- I went to the shops and really really wanted a muffin break muffin (they have lamington ones for Aus day and Lammingtons are my fav) so I bought one, has a bit less than half, felt satisified that I had had a taste, and I threw the rest in the bin, that for me is a big step because often I would have eaten the whole thing whether I wanted it or not.
Determined to have a good weekend, get some walking done and eat well.
I hope everyone manages to fac and over come any eating/excercise challenges thrown at them over the long weekend.
