Sorry ladies, I've been lurking for the last week or so, getting into a positive head space after a bit of a let down - but i'm back now!

Great to see people are well on their way to acheiving their weight loss goals.

I also have a loss to report, I'm down to 62.1kg, so I'm 31kg lighter than I was 6 mths ago, and my lightest since I was 18 yrs old.

Aww, shucks ladies, you are so so so kind and welcoming. As I've got a bit of study on my plate (not to mention trying to learn the new Body Attack and Body Pump choreography which has just been released to us in SA), I'm scaling back my BB time - but you'll still see me on this thread and the fitness tips and chatter sticky too.

KTGirl - My trick is to limit my calories (to the CK website recommendation) and do 45 - 60 mins of high impact exercise after my last meal of the day. That way I go to bed in calorie depletion - not hungry or anything - and I'll just drink water after the exercise. That usually gives me anywhere from a 100 gram - 500 gram loss each day. And I do it day in and day out, until I reached my goal. That is my secret. If you want more info let me know and I am happy to share - but that is the 'guts' of my secret .

Leesa - Thanks for your advice I still can't get over a loss of 31kg that is so amazing!! I think I need to step up my exercise routine a bit. So what exercise do you do at night after your last meal? Do you go to a gym or do something at home?

JBM - Yay for you being back on track and losing already Keep it up!!

    Hi everyone else

AFM - Weighed in this morning and stayed the same this week I'm not really surprised though as AF has just shown up and I am always heavier at AF time. Hopefully next week I will record a good loss

Hi all, can I join in here?

I am hoping to lose 8kg to get me back to a healthy 22 BMI. I've got a mini goal of 4kg by DS's birthday in 6 weeks.

My weakness is chocolate and I have no self control! I'm also finding that since having DD I am constantly hungry to the point that my stomach is grumbling 2 hours after dinner. I'm stuck for what to snack on aside from fruit.

Hey Zara - Was he male or female?? Some drs are so rude. I actually told my specialist once that he was a rude ignorant man... felt so much better afterwards! haha! From then on our consultations were always, quick, brief, to the point. Less i had to see of him the better, and i'm sure he felt the same way. Big hugs Don't let it get to you, you are in the process of becoming a healthier person - you are amazing.

Eluned! Welcome to the group! 4kg in 6 weeks is achievable, good luck with your first week! And good luck sticking to your guns at the birthday party! Always my big weakness (kids parties). Could you have some cereal after dinner perhaps? Or a cup of tea/coffee? They always seem to 'fill' me up, because its a big cup of liquid iykwim. I simply don't have chocolate in the house anymore.. i too can't help myself! I figure if its not there, i can't eat it! GL!

I'm doing my official weigh ins on Fridays, although I do tend to jump on the scales almost everyday

Weigh in day for me and this week I have actually lost 1.8kg!! But because I put on a little bit over the last couple of weeks that weight loss puts me about .5 lower than I was before I gained a bit so I am pleased with that.

JBM- Hope you enjoyed your trip to Melbourne. Good work with planning the bike rides!!

Eluned - How did you go with weigh in today? It sounds like you are eating really healthy meals

Teagz - How are you going this week. I think having more meals and making them smaller works well. I always find when I eat 5 times a day I lose more weight than when I only eat 3 times a day. I just try and have something healthy for the snacks like a low fat yoghurt or fruit.

Mr Squidipa - Well done on not giving into your cravings so much!!

Hi to everyone else. I hope you are all having a good day. How is everyone going staying away from the easter eggs? So far I have resisted, lets hope I resist for a little longer

ktgirl & teagz - woohoo on the weight loss!! Awesome work girls

I've only lost 100 grams this week Dismal! But I guess any loss is better than a gain. I caved last night and ate chocolate (nearly a whole block) I'm so terrible when it comes to chocolate. I can't resist it. If it's not in the house then I can't eat it, but how do I resist buying it at the shops? Easter is going to kill me! I told DH not to get me any eggs at all.

ETA: yep I like watching TBL as well especially the masterclass episodes. They have all lost so much weight, it's inspiring!
