Abb - woohoo on the weight loss!!! That's awesome
Speaking of watching boys in the gym, I was watching a few myself whilst waiting for Body Balance to start (in hindsight should have jumped on a treadmill while I was waiting but I was exercising my eyes instead) and there was a guy who was a spitting image of Taylor Lautner! Phwoar
Body Balance tonight was pretty good. New release and I really liked the ab work. The class had a nice flow to it. I do miss my dedicated pilates classes thoughI miss the small classes allowing for one on one attention and where the instructor can stop and correct your posture and tailor the move to suit you. In a big class like Body Balance, it doesn't really happen like that. I'm enjoying the workout but I think I also wanna head back into pure pilates again. Argh! Why did my studio have to change things around! /sigh

And don't feel bad, we all have our issues hon.

). Since that class, Friday, Sat and Sunday I was sore as could be, but Sat I went to the gym and did 20 minutes on the treadmill anyway, Sunday I went and did 15 minutes on the treadmill, 10 on the cross trainer and 10 on the spin. I then did 15 minutes of stretching in that area. Today I have both kids and am working a night shift, so I did a yoga stretch on my Wii Fit for 15 minutes and then 3 of their "aerobic" sessions. They only last 3-5 minutes really. We then took the dogs for a slow but uphill walk to get the kids outside for a while. So I'm feeling like I can do this! Tomorrow I have a session with the PT on the weights in the evening, and then I will stretch. Wed-Sat I'm working full on days.... I'm trying to figure out how to fit in going to the gym, I may have to get up ridiculously early, maybe Friday so that I don't miss out too much. The problem is that when I'm not working, I have both girls and my oldest M has issues. There is no way she'd go to the gym creche or the gym kids program. She's threatened to scream the whole time. She hates new places and new people, so I know there has to be a breaking in time. Ah well.... I guess I could get my fit ball out and do some of what we did in the class to keep up at home in 10 minute spurts while I have the kids....
But I love it!
So I'll be going milk-free tomorrow!
to everyone else - I hope your fitness journeys are rocking along!

but they are stretchy elastic waist-banded jeans but still
Does shifting books along the shelves count as arm work (my arms say it does) - have been stocktaking and weeding the school library collection so have been "finding" empty shelves so have been shifting books along as I go.
