I have slipped up a tiny bit in the last few weeks, mainly because it's all of our religious festivals and there is a lot more junk in the house due to the kids. I think also psychologically I have been weaker because I have to start an extreme elimination diet next week to look for food intolerances, and I know this is the last week I can slip up without stuffing things up major-ly.

I've put back on about 1kg, which is upsetting, but hopefully next week when I can basically eat nothing, it will all come back off again.

I'm a lot better about with-holding temptation when I'm in an OK mood, it's when I'm having a cr@p day and there is junk in the house (mainly if it;'s left over from the kids, my biggest trick to sticking to this is not having anything at all in the house with sugar in it.. but every so often my MIL will bring something for the kids and then the leftovers sit there calling my name!), that's when I fall..

How about you guys.. how do you keep the psychological strength not to go back to your old ways when you are not craving sugar per se, just needing an emotional eating fix?
