I am just doing the WW by myself. I lost 12kg years ago on it so I know the drill. My neighbour is doing the meetings so I just look at all her notes I find that writing everything down is the key for me as it keeps me honest and I don't sneak little treats.

I think I have to give WW a go again Not the meetings, money is a bit tight, but on my own. Just tracking what I am eating and checking my portions. Not doing great, taking LOADS of stress and then I eat way to much. Also it's cold, so I'm constantly checking the cupbords/fridge for someting to eat and lowering my standards everytime That 200g glass of water is now three glasses of water.

Sas - about the funeral. And :clap for the one kilo
Belfie - My dad's a diabetic too and I can only imagine how scared and panicked you are. Hopefully your dr is right and it's just a minor hick-up. If not, you'll deal with it then. No point in stressing about someting that might not be.
Trillian - I have not send you through my measurements yet, uhmmmm have no excuse LOL

Nadine - why don't you try calorie king first? it is free and you may find it is just as good as WW. I actually find it is better for me.

Well I lost 0.9kg. So that is fine. I knew I wouldn't hit the magic 1kg this week because of my sneak peeks. Today I was feeling a bit low (like every tuesday) and headed to McDs for a coffee and a donut. At the last minute I changed to the mini-mint slice and skinny capp. Thank god because I looked up the difference when I got home and was shocked. mini slice - 6.7g of fat and 100 cal. donut - 32g of fat (almost a days worth for me) and 500 cal. OMG!!!!
So anyway crisis averted and feeling better - gotta love caffeine.
Had the best game of futsal last night - 6 goals! So good as the rest of my team is really really good and I always feel a bit like I am letting the team down. But very happy with that. Plus felt like I could just run and run. Even wanted to go for a jog afterwards - weird hey?

Trill - no worries. Will do now.

Try the Aussie one - I use it and it is definitely free. Although there is a software version available to download and I think that costs money.

i'm curious about CK too ... is it definitely free?

Well I've done my fasting glucose this morning, results in 2 days. Thanks heaps for all the support it helps. Oh and yes I am totally paranoid about clean clean hands before testing. I wish I wasn't, then I could blame it! I did my own fasting BSL this morning and it's still in the "at risk but not definitely diabetic" range... so we'll see. But I've got my wah wah out of my system and feeling much more... what will be, will be. Sometimes the wait/worry is the worst bit. Once you know what's happening, then you can get on and deal with it. Did my weight this mornign .5 kg lighter but I think that's cos i was fasting lol, dunno if I should send it or not! (Plus I forgot to send last week's, oops!).

krysalyss - that's a great loss! And omg on the difference in calories! I was at Ikea today and managed to go the healthier option - salmon, peas, carrots. But it was foul! Lol at least I tried!

Nadine216 - Re ww, I reckon using a spreadsheet or something would be just as good for me too... I just need to track what I eat. Whether that's using WW or not I guess it's what works for each person. I'm about to start weaning so my points will go down, that's a shame!
