I don't think this week is shaping up so well as I have had a cold and not able to get out and exercise as much, plus I have a Hen's night on Saturday which is a dinner. I think I will try to eat only half of everything - it is a pre-paid 3 course meal so no selections

    Hi guys,
Nadine - I already know where you are so don't want to cheat.
Belfie - one of the two is right
Nai - I hope you feel better soon! If you can, eat first before going to the hens night. Or you can save some calories/points during the week to spend on that night. And if you do have a bit of a blow-out make sure you at least enjoy the night!

Well this week is ok so far. I had a low exercise day on Tuesday - just walked the dog. Yesterday I jogged (14 mins jog, 2 mins walk, 14 mins jog). Today I have to ride in to work and back so that is a good 30 mins. We have MIL and niece here at the moment. MIL is always "are you sure you don't want some pancakes, not even just one? if I get you some maple syrup will you have one" argh! But I have been good. Haven;t been over any targets yet. Tonight is pizza though so will have to restrain myself there.
Am going to weigh-in on Saturday this week as am off to Cairns sunday morning for the week. Am a bit worried about putting on weight while I am away as I won't have any of my normal exercise things going and will be at a catered conference - eek! I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!

Go Belfie's neighbours dog I had to give my car a running start this morning that's my exercise done for the day.
DH is right - South Africa

Nai - hun, me and you are in the same boat. I got a nasty case of sinus/hayfever/headcold thing going on and then I eat to get this icky taste out of my mouth. BUT my DARLING DH brough home my fav chocolate last night and told me that I can have it guilt free on Sunday, IF is stick to eating right. So I'm a bit more motivated this morning. I have to second krysalyss's ideas of eating before hand. And if not, you can always DRINK enough at the party (sodawater I mean - with ice, that looks like a drink) to keep you full and away from munching to much

Krys - You are doing go good!! Really an insperation, I would have been ALL over those pancakes with that kind of encouragement. About your catered confress - YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I went for my last physio app yesterday and stuff it, I'm starting gym on Monday. Come hell or high water, headcold or sleepless nights. I can't go on like this. After pushing the car this morning I was so out of breath it's disgusting. Going to get my strings together and do this thing.

Oh - going to try a new recipe tonight. Chicken and cashew stir-fry. Don't know how that falls into my diet, but just half a portion won't kill me, right? Right?? Say yes!!

YAAAAAAAY! where is the "happy for meeee" emoticon when I need it?
Did my fasting glucose and my HbA1c (which picks up on glucose levels over the last few months) and they're both absolutely a-ok fine-diddly-fine!

Super duper relieved AND have been referred to a dietician to help me with my fructose malasorption and eating low GI/preventative stuff. My docs says I might be erring towards the side of impaired glucose tolerance, but all that I have to do for that is eat low GI, lose weight & exercise - sound familiar!??!? So i'm soooo relieved and we've both (me & doc) agreed that I'll just monitor my BSL's myself just occasionally to keep an eye on them (given upcoming plans to TTC). AND she thought I'd done super well to lose 6kg

Oh and lol, it was MY darn dog that barked, not even someone else's

    oops gotta run... BBL
