I am really struggling with this weight loss challenge. Just don't have my heart in it...I want to shed the weight but something isn't working for me. Have some emotional issues atm which are weighing rather heavily on my mind so I think until I get through them nothing elese is going to shift. Bit depressing. I have also been very very stressed of late too.....think it is related to my 'issues'.

Yesterday I went for a 40 minute walk in the rain with DS#2. I hate rain with a passion so to do that is a massive plus for me.

Food side is okay. Have redued the size of a lot of meals although some nights I find myself serving up a big meal for myself coz I am so blumin hungry by then.

My measurements went up this week....I have either expanded or I am not measureing properly each week which is very annoying. However, I have gone down a notch in my one and only belt...go figure!?!

    Water consumption - always good!

Had a look on the WW site the other night and was very impressed with their firness info. Will go back and check it out again today.

    Two questions....
WW girls - how does this join for $1 thing work.....
Jenny Craig girls - does it really only cost $7 per week.......how does JC work? Is it the same as WW.

Well doen to everyone with a loss this week and to those who stayed the same. For those of us not happy with the results (when they get posted!)....good luck for this week. I almost pulled the pin but did not want to label myself as a quitter so am sticking with it.....

Hi Aamy - I got this one at Big W but you can also get them from Amart Allsports etcs. Get a small one with a good clip as the last one I had kept coming off. Grrr. Also if you can get one with a sensitivity adjuster as the readings change depending on your pants and the position.

    Well yesterday was ok:
    Steps: Around 10,000
Bfast: Weetbix with honey and light milk
Mtea: Rice cakes with light cream cheese, tomato and pickle
Lunch: rice cakes with margerine and marmite
Atea: orange plus coffee with light soy milk and one sugar
Dinner: Couscous with vegies and satay sauce
Other: 1 small square of dark chocolate plus peppermint tea

Today hasn't been quite so good.
So far (will update again later)
Steps: 10000 + plus 20 mins exercise bike
Bfast: weetbix with honey and soymilk
Mtea: coffee with soy and one sugar; slice of homemade fruit toast with marg
Lunch: Rice cakes with marg and marmite plus miso soup with noodles
Atea: small home-made sausage roll (with vege sausage), coffee with skim milk and one sugar
Dinner: 1/4 vege pizza with extra vegies
Other: 1 small square of dark chocolate

Will have to do some kind of exercise tonight to make up for it. Am feeling a bit crappy though as DS has just been in the worst mood. Last night he woke up at middnight and screamed for an hour, this morning the same, and again this afternoon. Don't know what is going wrong but it is really hard. Feel like comfort food but trying to resist more damage than I have already done today!

One good thing is that I went to a physiotherapist yesterday for shin splints and sore feet/knee and she said everything was to do with my flat feet (which I didnt know I had) and she gave me stretches and I have to get orthopaedic insoles which should sort it out. Yay! nothing too bad.

    Hi Everyone,

I have been MIA - didn't even measure myself this week . . sorry, was becoming addicted to BB and told myself not to look at anything for a week, serves ,me right, now I have all this catch up reading to do and can't remember everything.

    Cherished - Congrats!!!!

Everyone who lost weight - even 100g, YAY, YAY, YAY.

Everyone who didn't, well, we will have good weeks and bad weeks, this challenge is good because it keeps us accountable and means we can remotivate. I feel like I am doing well this week, so hopefully will have 2 weeks worth of measurements to report on Tuesday.

Krysalus - Wow, good work on recording your intake and output, it really makes you think before you eat something if you know you'll have to write it down hey.

Bub is teething (so my mother tells me, I see no teeth) but nappy rash for the first time EVER a few times and sudden outbursts for not reason, and barely eating or drinking much when she's usually such a guts and needs to be cuz she's only wittle and not a chubba, but she's not sick at all and is still giggly and happy most of the time so who knows. I am hating this rain, I am hating indoor excercise at the moment even though I have the means to do it. Rain, Rain go Away.

    Morning champs!

Just popped onto see the results...stil not up yet....I wonder if the server crashing is the reason.

I just looked back over the week and I have done 3 x 40 minute walks pushing a pram plus an hr one which was in the rain.

Hi guys, well yesterday was a total right off (Sizzler at lunch - need I say more) but at least I played soccer last night to redeem myself slightly. I paid for the lunch in the afternoon though as I felt terrible and my brain was just mush. Today is a lot better so far and feeling good.

    So far:
    Steps: 10000 plus stretches
Bfast: Wholemeal toast with avocado, mushrooms, olives, semi-dried tomato. Plus coffee with light soy and one sugar
Mtea: kiwifruit, banana, large coffee with normal soy and 2 sugars
Lunch: salad with avo, home-made croutons, almonds, olives.
Atea: 2 arrowroot bikkies, coffee with light soy milk and one sugar
Dinner: stirfried vegies with brown rice
Other: one peppermint tea, 5 rice cracker bikkies

Am hoping I dont pay too much on weighing for yesterday. Hope you are all doing well.
