Hi all- I have been a bit MIA, life got hectic and I got distracted. But I am back on track, I have started counting calories, back at training and picking up an extra sessions, and I am off to pick up a bike this weekend- that I am goin to start riding a couple times a week.
Hi girls. Sorry havent been around much. Work is crazy and we are down to dial-up - so painful!. Back to broadband tomorrow though. Can't really remember what I have eaten over the last couple of days but know I did indulge somewhat. Last night I had indian and also had a donut yesterday. The upside is work has been a bit gruelling so have been getting plenty of exercise. A couple of nights ago I was looking at myself in the mirror and wishing I had nice toned arms. Be careful what you wish for! The next day I had an hour worth of digging at work - ouch!
Anyway here is todays diary:
Steps: 20,000 (OMG yay!)
Bfast: 2 weetbix with honey and light soy
Mtea: 2 peppermints
Lunch: vege sausage on bun with onion, light sour cream, sweet chilli and tomato. Apple
Atea: none
Dinner: couscous with left over curry sauce and vegies
Other: coffee with light soy milk and one sugar. Milky way.
I was looking at choc bars yesterday and almost had a heart attack at the amount of fat! I try and stick to 40g per day. A milky way is ok at 3.5g. One little ferrero rocher is 5g! (so one of those three packs is 15g!). DHs coconut rough was 20g!!
Are any of you using calorie king? I was thinking of checking it out.
i use calorie king. It is great. It not only calculates how much calorie is in what you eat but also calculates your expenditure. When you type in what type of excercise you have done, eg. walking at 5.5kph for 35 mins it deducts that from your total calorific intake. It is fantastic. A friend of mine used to pay for what calorie king did until i showed her CK and she's now stopped paying for the one she was using and joined CK. It is great. Check it out. Its FAB.
Yeah it looks good. I honestly didn't have any clue about how much I was eating. Seems mostly I am going under but will know for sure if I keep putting in the serves there. Today is going ok despite going to a kids b'day party. Will update later after dinner.
Sorry - I have been MIA as we have all been housebound in quarantine because DD1 had swine flu! I have absolutely no idea where I am at as I haven't been to the gym for a week and a half and haven't been able to get out of the house and exercise. I will try to get back on track this week.

Krysalyss - not really, DD2 is 3yo and has had worse colds to be honest but if someone was immuno suppressed etc it may be a different story. However, she was the only one in the family to get it and we were all quarantined. Oh well - hopefully we now all have immunity from the exposure.

so much for all the work i had planned this weekend,??? Saturday we spent the day looking at laptops, tvs, stoves etc and ending up eating hungry jacks, nice at the time but i had tummy pains later!!! Yestreday got a bit done, and today was a good day, except DH is talking about having pizza for tea and I would really love a piece...but weigh in is tomorrow!!!???
Must have a look at calorie King, i was checking out another website and it was so painfull... I gave up.
Nai, swine flu I bet you got a fright when it was confimed sounds like your DD got a mild case??? Still would'nt want it JIC I don't think...the kindy teacher was talking about it last week saying it would get down here over the school hols if it did'nt make it before that..

Turkish, never stop I could'nt cope.. I love to sit and relax in the evenings. With my thyroid they won't do anything until it becomes underactive ?? I think maybe they are hoping that it might fix itself it can be a side effect of having bubs although I think I have had a problem for a while, I am wondring if it might have been the cause of my MC's, well at least the last ones. Would hate to get huge (trying to prevent that now, all my auntys on my dads side are size 22-24 and not so tall with health problems to go with it) I will be actively pushing for something to be done if I start to really struggle with losing weight.Hard enough to lose 20 kgs, without having to lose a whole nother person.

Thanks for the encouragement BD. It has been a hard week for me. Plus no soccer today due to public holiday and I think soccer has been saving my weighins so far.
I feel a little bit thinner this week but really don't think I have lost anything because I kept sneaking looks at the scales during the week with disappointment. Please please please let me lose something! I would really love 0.9kg as that would take me to 5kg.
Well today I was a liitle bit naughty. Went over my fat allowance but stayed under my calorie allowance. I wonder what the consequences of that is?

Well im back to where i started, my original weight. Gained 500g this week ggrr would it be due to the fact af is due tomorrow? hhmmm lost a couple of cm from waist and hips gain some on my boobs ggrr so angry. Thought i was doing so well. This week my aim is to keep an eye on portion control and cut back!!
I am sooooo very naughty. As you know i was housebound as DH was working for 4 days straight and couldn't get to the gym. I got sick as well, just a head cold with an irritating cough, thanks to DD. I'm at work today because i have a performance review which absolutely loathe. I have a day off tomorrow, so lots of rest.
DH is on 3 weeks annual leave for there annual shut down period, so i made a deal with him that i will hit the gym every day and he can go fishing once a week (for the whole day) and take DS for an overnighter fishing trip as well.
There is 46 days til my bf wedding which i am the matron of honour. I am so excited.
I've put on 1.5kgs but that was all my doing.
I've put a mini goal for myself of going to gym every day to see if i can lose 4kgs by 1st July. Even though i'm sick today, i'm still going to go to the gym.
Amaki - If you've lost cm off your waist and hips and AF is due you have probably just bloated up with fluid and your boobs more cystic, I reckon it'll come off with AF and more if you're stepping things up even more next week. I've put on up to 2kg of fluid just before AF back in the day prior to preg & BF when AF actually visited!
Turkish - Be careful going to gym if you're sick. Don't go if you've got a temperature, and take it easy gal. Trust me, collapsing at the gym is EMBARRASSING, I've done it. Also, you've done so well, just looking at your ticker makes me envious. Glad you've got such a good mindset to get back on the horse after a little hiccup. Wish I had a gym membership at the moment is just too expensive. Maybe in a couple of months when Tax season hits and the money starts pouring in I'll get one, I love their classes. Do any of you gym goers have a favourite class??? I always found the belly, butt thighs class a KILLER.
Well, I lost 600g this week. Though I didn't drink as much as I usually do yesterday so wonder if maybe just fluid weight. Ah well. We are going to Cairns tomorrow for a week's holidays. Holidays and weight gain seem to go hand in hand. Is going to be difficult, I am really going to try and be good and go to the gym the hotel has (probably a treadmill and a free weight they just call a 'gym' but hey, better then nothing) So I will probably miss next weeks weigh in as I won't be back home till following Wed arvo, so I will record any results in my signature and just put 2 weeks in following weigh-in. (If I have any results after the holiday week that is I might be grateful I dnn't have to weigh in!)
i had a bad week too Turkish; DP LOVES fishing also tho; he went every night over the long weekend; which i dont mind coz it gives me time to chill out on my own; watch the tv shows i want without him whinging he hates it and i get to Wii woohoo!! Good luck with your mini goal!!! I love weddings, i have one in October i wanna lose weight for; simply coz it will be a whole heap of high school friends and i wanna look good hehe. I think Trill has a wedding coming up too! Must be something in the air hehe

Hi ladies. Sorry I have been MIA for quite a while. Life has just been really hectic lately and I haven't been on BB much lately. I didn't even measure last week but will try and do it today for this week. I have been a bit slack with my eating over the last week or so and have put on a little but back on track now. I had bootcamp yesterday and I am going to take the kids out for a walk when they get up from their morning sleep later.

Hi girls. Well I will stop annoying you with my daily diary now that I am using calorie king. It seems pretty good! Ionly lost 300g this week. But thats ok. I am pretty motivated for this week as I am on the verge of being the thinnest since DS was born and am keen to break that record. Ilost 3cm from my boobs, 1 from tummy and 1 from hips. So happy with that.
Ammaki - If you gained only in the boobs then I definitely think it is due to AF coming.
TD - thats a nice goal. I wouldn't mind doing that myself. I am meeting with some old colleagues at the end of July and really want to lose 6kg by then - 1kg a week. But I will have to work hard to do it.
SAS - good result! I am going to Cairns at the start of July. Would love to know what is good to see while we are there. It is our first time there.

Sas - have a great holiday. Enjoy every moment of it. But what is a holiday if you can't eat everything you want? That's how i gained 4kg in like 2 weeks on our cruise late last year. Have a ball!
I don't have a temp as such, just a runny nose and small irritating dry cough. If i feel sick, i'll go home.
Amy - My DH and DS watch iFish on Foxtel ALL the time. DS is just as bad as his dad. I promised i would take him to meet Paul from iFish when he's next in his store (5 mins drive). Paul is in the store today apparently, so today DS will meet his idol. Fishing is all they talk about. It drives me nuts sometimes, but i feel relieved when they both go fishing as DD and i have time together. Your weight gain is probably all fluid from pre AF. I bloat too. You'll be fine next week, just keep at it, hun.
Krys - i need to get back on CK too. It's been awhile.
