Bahahahaha!!! I did tell DH that hey, I've probably lost weight already!!!! He agreed - he felt so sorry for me being on the toilet. I felt so sorry for him having to deal with all the kids by himself while I was out of action!

lol We've got gastro here too....but it's not me sadly I just get to deal with the poo

Kell that's enough of that talk - you can do it!!
Sterla and Mel and Kell hope your bugs are gone soon.
Liz - just put extra veges in the SC - easier than doing sides and you kind of forget about them being there when they're in there.
    Shantelle, I'm in Darwin too!
Krys hope you have a lovely week.
    GabberQueen WTG!
Wow 30 ladies (and a few DHs too!) that's great! Positive and healthy thoughts to you all this beautiful morning

Started the day off with my fave brekkie (porridge and banana) and have been for a walk through the Botanic Gardens with the kids. It's right next door with a big hill and shady (great for walking up here it's soooo hot).

Normally i'm a big advocate of tap water, but the water here is just awful. Being so hot it's easy enough to drink water but I bought DH a Brita electric water filter the other day. It sits on the bench and chills the water - it's fantastic and a great incentive to see the water level go down.

Well I went for a walk to the post office and sweated my guts out (even though its only around 20 degrees here today!) but I took the twin pram, with DS and DD1 in it and had DD2 in a mei tai so all in all I was pushing/carrying an extra 40kg (approx). Its only around 1.6km for the round trip - but at least its something. So far I have not been tempted by the biscuits (thought about them but not gone to look at them) and have had watermelon and an apple instead. And water - so go me!!! Gotta have a cuppa now though

I did start the day off with pancakes...only because we had them for brekky yesterday and I had to use up the leftover batter today

But I haven't had my usual cup of tea and slice of cake now that DD is asleep, instead I did about 25 mins on the Wii Fit and have had a couple of glasses of water. I'm hoping I haven't broken the balance board though...I got a bit too enthusiastic during the Obstacle Course and accidently jumped on it...then tried to do Step and it was only picking up half the steps I did so I got a very miserable score in that!
Still need to take the dog for a walk, might do that later this afternoon. It's getting quite warm today so will be a good workout. Also doing the vaccuming and mopping today, so will have DD in the sling while I vaccum.

Go you Arimeh! Sounds like a tough walk! Reminds me I should go and buy some more fruit, but might have to wait a few days until we have some more money.

Woohoo, go Mel!!! It may only be a short walk, but having that extra 40kg will definitely do some work!

Sounds like everyone is going well

Morning girls - just a quick thought.. I'm planning on using my slow cooker a lot to stop last minute takeaway dinners. Just have to not be too lazy to cook veges to go with it hehe.
throw vegies in with it babe mines on now with coleslaw mix (- the mayo lol) and mince...Jman and I will be having them in mountain bread wraps for tea

HAHAHA, gilrs, it must be our bodies going into panic mode, I spent the night on the loo too!!! On the upside, I lost 1 1/2kg through the night, lol!!!

Is it too late to join?
I'm not really in it for the weight loss, I only have around 5kg to lose but I really need motivation to tone by lumpy bits and to eat healthier too!

Eeek! Hope all you ladies with upset tummies are feeling better soon

Maz - I hope Mario is ok poor thing!!

AFM: I am just about dead today - decided it would be a good idea to go to the oval with my SIL (who plays soccer) and do a work out yesterday evening... I AM SOOOO SORE TODAY!!! She was making me do interval training (run-sprint-run) up and down the field!!! and then doing heaps of squats and lunges... I can hardly walk today LOL my legs are killing me, so I think I'll have to take it easy at the gym tonight!!
Food wise i've been ok today, just need to say NO to the temptation of that mid afternoon choccie I usually have! Trying to drink lots of water, but it's hard cos the air con in the office is freeeeezing.

Anyway I should get back to my work

    Week One Task

    Hi girls

I know Krys is away this week

In her absence, should we make the week one week task ?

Every Day this week that starts with a T - you need to briskly walk for an Hour ?

It's nice to know there will be other gals out there walking with me (ukwim)

Arimeh - WOO HOO! 1.6kms is brilliant, especially with the extra 40kgs. And good on you for not going to the bickies - I would've!

SS_Storm - Hahaha, I do that so much on our board, I swear the Wii is gonna smack me or put me in timeout or something!

Maz - Ooh, sounds like a nice dinner! I hope Mario's okay

Gracious_Goddess - Nope, not too late, just PM your measurements (chest, hip, waist and weight) to krysalyss even though she's away, and then do your measurements again on Sunday, and she can work it out.

Sibbie - Well done, sounds like your SIL is a slave driver!

Bengal - Love your new name! Yep, I like that idea, not sure if I'll make the full hour but I'll certainly try!

AFM - We went to our ballroom dance class last night, and I made it through the whole thing! Jive, Progressive Jive, Slow Rhythm, Square Rhumba, Mambo - my legs HURT today! But I'm proud of myself for making it through Snacking on nuts and seeds rather than crackers and cheese dip at work, and have already drunk almost 2l water and its only 12pm in WA. Feeling pumped!

Man, I was awake feeling sick too! Must be something in this thread

Well today I rode to work, spent 5 hours teaching swimming, then swam 20 laps and rode home - feeling a bit tired now!! I will ride to work another 3 times this week and will try to do a gym session and a run - well that's the plan at least..

Sounds like all you girls are off to a brilliant start! Good work!

I had to have a filling at the dentist today so haven't been able to eat anything since breakfast which was rushed so was only a cup of tea and some fruit. Hoping to have some soup later once the anaesthetic wears off and I can feel my tongue again!

    Thanks Berenice

Wow Nai, that's a fantastic effort!!

Ouch Eluned, hope it's not too painful!

I actually had breakfast this morning, crumpets with vegemite and a tiny bit of butter. Lunch was a ham, cheese, tomato s/w no butter, but I have had 2 mini red skins this afternoon, oops!

Dinner is spaghetti bolognaise. I too have to watch my portions, I've been eating almost as much as DH lately!! No wonder my bum's grown!

Can't do much exercise today as I'm stuck at work, an office job which has me sitting on my bum all day, but tomorrow is my day off and I'll go for a long walk with DS and I'm thinking of buying a yoga / pilates dvd, anyone have any recommendations? Are they any good?

Get a pedometer, you will be surprised at how much you actually walk when at work.

When you have to walk in the office, try and go a long way around if you can. Go for a 5-10 minute walk every hour, to get yourself away from the computer and to give you some exercise.
