    Unhappy Not Happy with myself atm..

    I am over weight - probably 20 kgs over weight. I try so hard to be good and I cook evey night exept for Tuesday nights as DH has Basket Ball practice and we have Domino's 2 for Tuesday - only take away for the week.

    I take Bella for at least an hr walk a day (weather permitting) and I try to be good.

    I am terrible at drinking coke and I crave choccolate and would have a little bit every day.

    Over all not to bad - but I cant loose weight! I feel fat and I look fat... Bella is 6 months old now so I cant use that as my excuse any more.

    I know HOW to loose weight I have done it before and I lost a lot of weight - I did it with WW but now dont have the $20 a week to go back.

    How do I get my head back in the weight loss thinking??

    I hate how I am at the moment but it all seems so bloody hard at the moment.

    How do I get started??

    Oh Kate, you sound exactly like me at the moment. I am struggling with my weight at the moment too. I've lost about 10kg since having Lara but I would still like to lose another 10 kg (15 if I could manage it). I was going great guns at the beginning but now I have lost all motivation. I have started to eat a bit of crap again. I too need to get back on track! I hate how big I look and everything I try on looks like crap coz I need to lose weight

    Leigh! YES! I dont even bother looking for cloths any more coz I hate how I look in them!!

    I have an idea - I once had a WW buddie - we would e-mail each other and say what we had done that week and if we lost or if we didnt then why and how we can fix it... maybe we could start that?? Im willing to reveal my weight and let the weigh start to fall off... might just be the kick start we both need... and having bubs round the same age we both KNOW what the other is going trough day to day with bubs and stuff...

    Kate, I am doing WW but by myself - I have done it before and know how it works so am doing it at home. The big thing I found is writing down everything that goes into my mouth is really making me accountable! I have lost 1.4kg so far - 13.6 to go!

    ETA - I will be your buddy too if you need motivation!

    Not alone you guys!!

    I have started yesterday. I have just made up my mind and are sticking to my guns. It's terrible hard to say now in the winter ... comfort food being 5 minutes away and all, but I just keep thinking that the longer I take to get started the longer it's going to be for me to see results.

    I know I can do this, I know I can get down to 68kg, I've been there before, it's just a matter of sticking it to chocolate and bitting down hard when offerd seconds.

    Nai - I have all the books too.. I should just do it and see how I go - once im into it i get a bit nazi like and I am really good... after tonight Pizza! Yeah and WW buddie would be great!

    Righto.. tonights pizza is the last supper for the Fat Kate!! YAY!

    Nadine - 1.4 is a great effort WELL DONE!!

    Sounds good girls, we can all motivate each other.

    Nadine - I want to get down to 68 kg too (63kg if I can manage it) but would be happy again at 68.

    My excuse is winter too. Its too cold to exercise, I feel like something warm to eat (like hot chips etc), but once winter ends I'll have the summer excuse - its too hot to exercise. Ha ha there is always some excuse. I just need to re focus and get back on track!

    Leigh I was 3kg away from my goal weight ... then I got pg

    So now I'm exactly 15kg away from goal weight SOUNDS SO MUCH, but it's not that bad, it could be 16kg!

    i'm in an extreamly good positive mood today .. don't know why

    Ok anyone who wants to be in the e-mail list PM me your e-mail addys and Ill do up and e-mail at work tomorrow - you can reveal youe weight if you like or just your losses at the weigh in day - I will suggest Monday Morning coz then I can collate the e-mail at work (work Mon & weds) and send out the updates...

    Katie I will be up for that. I am in the same boat as you. I really want to lose weight but cant stop putting food in my mouth. Would love a weight loss buddy. I think that is a great idea.

    Nai- I like your idea of writing every bit of food down just to make mysalf accountable. I had 3 sandwiches today and dint even realise it!!!! At least it was on multigrain bread but still thats alot of carbs!

    It's hard at the start but once you see and feel the loss the motivation is great.

    I was fitting into size 16 pants in Jan 2008, now i'm a size 10 and am contemplating on buying size 8 pants soon to help me tuck in a bit better.

    Turkish - Well done, you have given me hope!!! What was your secret? Diet and exercise obviously ha ha. Were you doing WW or anything? How often were you exercising?

    Hi girls,

    I don't post here much, have recently started doing ovulation induction last month and put on 3kg. I'm in the middle of my second cycle now and while I don't want to actively try lose weight while doing it I need some sort of motivation to stop the comfort food sneaking in too much.

    So.... can I join in too? I have 6kg to lose to get to MY ideal weight. It would be about 12kg to get to 'their' ideal weight but I'd be very happy with 6kg!

    I'll PM you Kate, but as I don't really know anyone, I understand if you'd rather keep it to ppl you guys know.
