Hi guys! Jayne - 800g is amazing! Especially as you are so close to your goal weight.
Raupe - happy happy birthday!
Not much to report here. Eating well but soccer training was cancelled due to the rain on wed and yesterday I was too swamped at work for the gym. I have to make an effort today though to go and get on the bike. If I don't someone can send me a virtual kick. :)
Happy Birthday Raupe.
Well I lost 200g this week  which isn't too bad but I wouldn't expect much since I had a bad day on friday and had KFC for dinner :wall: I had my appointment with the dietition today which went well, She was pretty happy with my diet so far I just have to tweek it a little and get my arse up and do more exercise. As I'm also in a better frame of mind and not in denial about what I eat and do so I will actually reach my goal this time.
Nice work on the loss epayne! And that is great that your diet is in order. :)
Am just about to head off to the gym. I haven't been so good with the exercise this week as work has totally taken over my life but I have been so much better with my eating. I feel a lot less bloated and more in control. This morning we went to McDs for a playdate and I was so good - just had a skinny cappuccino even though everyone else had chips and ice-cream. Then I got a salad sandwich and some watermelon on my way to work. I was supposed to have soccer today. It was a 7 a side warm up tournament so we were going to have three 30 min games. I was so geared up but it rained all yesterday and they cancelled. Today is blue skies of course. Oh well. Off to cycle then. Not quite as much fun.
See you guys tomorrow!
Oh wow, really really bad week for me this week! I don't think I will record it as it was a massive gain, so much so I think it has to be wrong (we are talking 3+ kgs!). I am still trying to find a flat spot for the scales and didn't have time to mess around this morning, well that's my excuse anyway! It was more likely that I didn't get to the gym once, and had 4 days at home with df and didn't record what I ate, just wasn't expecting it to be such a big gain as my midweek weigh in was well on track with a 500g loss :( ah well, I'll recover quickly and I guess I learnt that lesson the hard way!
How is everyone else? Jayne, any luck finding the dress yet?
Morning all, how are we going?
Got on the scales and have put ON like 400g but i thought it might happen, we were so busy last week we hardly got to walk, my diet wasn't exactly perfect and i figure after loosing something like 9kg 400g really isn't THAT bad, it will come off this week when i get back into walking again!
Going to make my own yummy pasties tonight, lots of veg lean meat and have it with salad :p
Oooh ZF, I have been feeling like pasties for like FOREVER!!! Can you pretty please make me some too? lol. Let me know how they go - I have never made them before.
I'm so hearing you about not being too down about the weight gain. You know where you went wrong & you know that you have lost 9kg already, so getting that 400g off is a walk in the park (literally!!! bahaha). It's an awesome way of thinking!!!
Had my treat on Saturday - I am letting myself have one treat per week. This week I chose a double-cheeseburger. Soooooooooooo good! But then we had home made hot dogs for dinner on Saturday night with cheese, tomato, cucumber & sauce & I felt so awfully bloated come Saturday night. Essentially it was two burger style things in one day & my stomach just didn't like it very much. So Sunday I put in a marathon 9km on the cross-trainer & I ate a lot of fruit & today I'm feeling so much better.
By chance, I found some hot cross buns at a french bakery we have, so I had one for breakfast this morning (they are much smaller than what we get at home) & some fruit with banana sliced through it. SOOOOOOOOOOooo yummy!
Same here  I had a blast on my birthday and TOTALLY stuffed my guts lol. Sooo healthy of me, I know . I actually felt really sick that night (and the following two days). Was it worth it? Totally. But yeah, it does show on the scales.... *Sigh*.... Back to being good I guess....
Oh, and thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!!
Just a quick note to let you all know that I love ya! :grouphug:
There's so much drama going on lately and I'm just glad that we get along so well, everyone is respectful and supportive in here. :D Ahhh, I love the Summer/Autumn challenge thread and all its peeps! :heartbeat:
:( totally fell off the wagon over the weekend. DH and the boys had a campfire in the back yard which involved toasted marshmallows. I love marshmallows. I think I ate almost half a pack. Then on Saturday I had an Egg McMuffin and a hash brown for brekky because we were driving to Sydney.
I've been a bit anxious about business and we might have to move and other dramas and I found it really hard to give it my best at pump today :(
Speaking of pump... for March my gym has bring a friend for free so if a Canberra girl can make it to the Woden Fernwood you can be my friend. I usually go to the 12.30 class on Monday and Wednesday.
I still haven't been near the scales but I have noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit so I think (hope) that maybe I am trimmer. I really need to drink more water, I'm getting more pimples and I know it's from not drinking enough water. So that's my mission for this week. Make drinking more water a habit. TBH I have a really small bladder so I tend to avoid liquid to avoid having to pee  I guess I need to just suck it up (and maybe do more pelvic floor exercises).
I need to focus on drink water too. Theres a water drinking challenge thread somewhere, I know it.
I've had a shocker of a week, back on track as of this morning hut tomorrow is shrove Tuesday and I know my mother will make a large number of pancakes and I'll be expected to eat them
Hey everyone I'm hoping this is the right place to post. I'm looking for some motivation to lose some weight and be healthier. I fluctuate between size 12-16. I don't know my weight. I'm too scared to see it. I know I have gotten heavier since I got married and I was 80kilos then... :(
I'm 23 (nearly 24) and I think I need to lose weight to help with the ttc process and make things a bit better with my self confidence.
I'm taking the big step tomorrow and going to buy some scales. As well as look into healthy eating ideas and ttc diets.

Welcome Melzi19 - your more than welcome to join in here, all the ladies are lovely and here to support each other but were not afraid to give each other a kick up the butt if thats what you need :p
Don't worry about the scales, if it's something you don't want to look at right now get a tape measure and go by measurements.
How is everyone else this morning?
Am having apple & blackberry pancakes with the girls... made them myself though so basically flower, soy milk and 1 egg.. not TOO bad :p
Did your walk yesterday and some mowing in the arvo.
Hi girls, I popped in here a few weeks ago and now I'm back and keen to get motivated!
My tummy was measuring 97cms and I'm ashamed to say it still is! Honestly I have tried so am a bit disappointed that there is no difference. I've made a point of walking almost everyday as opposed to never, I've stopped eating Moo's leftovers, I've become more active in general instead of sitting around as much as I was, cut out alcohol and have stopped snacking.
So now I'm going to have to put in MUCH more effort! Does anyone have any tips for exercising at home? We don't have any spare cash for a gym or anything like that.
Well done to those who have lost weight! Like some of you have mentioned I too need to drink water. I can go days which I know is not helping.
I ate lunch today. Yay. Chickpea and pumpkin salad.
It's the first time in a week or so that I've eaten lunch at work, I often don't eat between breakfast and dinner.
And now I'm off to fill my water bottle, embarrassingly for the first time today
CM - this might sound crazy but instead of NOT snacking you might need to look at how much you eat, honestly i used to eat breakfast lunch and tea and that was basically it but when i did snack it was on crap.
So now i have actually increased my food and am loosing weight, i eat breakfast and snack as the girls do during the day, if they have fruit i have fruit.. i very rarely feed them complete crap so it actually works well.
Exercising at home - we got an exercise bike and i've used it about 4 times , i mow the lawns which is a great workout but otherwise we walk 3 days a week with HotI and i love it.
Pandora - yay for lunch.. lots of water.. go go go
Thanks ZF, that all makes sense. I cut up fruit etc for Moo but don't ever eat any myself! I just wish my area had better walking facilities. There are hardly any footpaths so you have to walk on the road, but I will find some better places to walk with the pram even if I have to drive there.
