Jayne- you dork! I was wondering what happened to you! Hahaha... I can only imagine how ****ty apartment hunting must be, it was a complete nightmare for us recently and that was here! It must be a million times harder for you. Try and get a break when you can! I love your incentive scheme, it's fantastic! Not sure what I should reward myself with, I am trying to save money, for some reason now we have two incomes instead of one we have half as much money! Df being home all the time is turning out to be lethal, he is doing daily grocery shopping! Yikes...
I'm off to the gym in the morning, anyone want to throw me a challenge? I need to fit some weights in and should have an hour and a half total to work out. On sat I will rechallenge my 1k run time to see if I can beat my last time
I ended up just going with it at lunch time today, probably consumed over 1000 calories, but it was so worth it! I made up for it though as I had to work late (lunch took 2 hours out of my day so couldn't get everything done), didn't get home till after 9pm and just had a muesli bar on the train and then some yoghurt for dinner, so it's possible I was still under 1500 cals for the day. Holding no hope for a significant loss in the morning though as it was also pouring rain most of this week so didn't get my normal 3k walks each day either!
We are also going to be celebrating tomorrow as DD had her 4 year old hip check this week (she had hip dysplasia as a baby and was in plaster for ages, then a brace till she was one), and at her 3 yr old check they told us she would probably need surgery between 4 and 5 years old and to go back into plaster. Well, they were wrong! Her hips developed sufficiently on their own, and though they still aren't perfect, she doesn't need surgery!! Hooray!!! It's such a relief! Going to do something special to celebrate, but not sure what yet!
