    Question weightloss motivation

Does any one have any ideas how to motivate me, I have no energy but know I need to exersize and eat better and lose weight. I need / want to lose about 10-15kg.
Also, I need to be able to do this while still breastfeeding. I'll need to boost my supply as well.

    Thanks

Well there are a couple of weightloss/exercise threads on BB right now that you could jump in on.
But I think the best thing for me was when I paired up with someone else trying to lose weight and we would weigh each other once a week. Whoever didn't lose weight had to make supper for the other family. That was the motivation and accountability I needed to keep going.
As far as diet goes, personally I wouldn't recommend eating "diet food" when nursing. (that is, diet pop, artificially sweetened stuff, etc.) I'd try to pick up the whole grains, fruits and veggies, and drink lots of water. Just before becoming pregnant with Emily, I started drinking 6 cups of water a day, and I lost 5lb in 2 weeks, making only that change! Don't snack after supper either.
    All the best!

Something i love about being lighter (lost 18kg since having DD - that is, 18kg lighter than my pre-preg weight) is breathing. THis sounds dumb but try it.

I used to lie on my back when i was heavier and grab the fat over my upper stomach, just below where my ribs met, and lift it up a little. I could breathe SO much easier, and it made me see how much extra i was carrying and what it was doing, because when i let it go breathing felt heavy for a bit. NOw i'm lighter i can't grab nearly so much and lifting it makes almost no difference because it's not enough of a layer to drag on my chest/tummy.

Another thing you can do is fill waterbottles to the weight of what you want to lose (i think a litre weighs a kg..?) and put it in a back pack and wear it for an hour. Walk about, up and down stairs and so on. Then take it off and feel how much lighter you feel. If you need to lose a lot you could just do this to your first goal - i.e. 3kg this month, just do it with 3kg and see how much lighter you'll be when you "take off" that weight in the next month.

come and join us in the body transformation thread - we are encouraging one another..........https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...09#post1088109

Hoobley....that walking around with the weight on your back is an awesome idea........1 litre of water is about 1 kilo....might have to find something denser that weighs more and I think 20 litres of water would be too bulky.......hey...just some weight plates or dumbells would do it.....got me thinking now....and it would be really good exercise as well......amd going to add it to the transformation thread.
