CQ i don't suppose you have specific knowledge for those with metabolic disorders...? As you can see i'm going nowhere fast on my weightloss plan!

I'm chasing the GP today for a medication adjustment, because after several weeks of training my legs still feel "dead" for the whole run and i want to have well-controlled TSH for ttc...

But can you tell me ways to increase my BMR? Just now i'm running x4 a week (all on hills, 3 shortish runs at 6am in the freezing cold and 1 long run (double the short distance) at the weekend) and lifting weights twice (basically your workout plan cut roughly in half, though TBH i do about 60% of it twice (legs, chest, abs one day and then arms, shoulders, back, abs the other but i occasionally do one or other bodypart twice if i'm feeling in to it). Calorie intake is stable at about 1900 spread over 5-6 small meals. So how else can i increase my BMR? The way my thyroid condition was explained to me, it costs me the same amount of calories to squat 30kg as anyone else, but it takes more reps for me to gain the increase in muscle and thus BMR than a normal person.
