Just decline the invite. Easy as that. frankly I don't even see an issue. Just tell them you can't come, and maybe drop round a little prezzie or invite the birthday kid over for a play. It is not your place to discuss ethics with the pArents. (meant in a nice way. Sound harsh in writing)
