In answer to your question, I guess I can keep a secret as I did not announce or inform anyone in real life of my pregnancies until the 20w scan (only scan I had with either of them also), including parents! For me it isn't to do with the miscarriage risk though.

I think you need to work out a way for you both to be comfortable, everybody feels differently about it I guess.
