How to decide to have another or not....

How is the decision making going?

LOL....it's not! I suggested to DH one day 'lets have another baby' and the immediate response was 'No way, we can't afford it!'. So that idea was shot down in flames!! But then last weekend we were at a bbq and he was gooing and gushing all over his friends baby, and again at the shops he was playing with a little bub in a pram, some strangers baby. No if that's not clucky tell me what is!! I am pretty sure that I woul have another if I were 'allowed' to. Actually no I would not hesitate in having another. But I have to be realistic and try to convince myself other wise. Because if DH is really adamant and we don't have another then I am the one who is...losing out (for lack of a better term). I will be the one who has to deal with my feelings. Because he will be getting what he wants. There is no compromising in this, it's either one way or another. And for me to have a child and he doesn't want to, then thats not fair on the child or him, and he might resent one or both of us....its a tough one!!

It is SO tough!!! For 18months now my DH has been adamant no but.....I think I can swing him around, might take a while though. Last night he was the same....telling me about a baby he saw and how she was looking up at him with her big brown eyes sound clucky much for a man??? I'm living in hope though, probably going to get shot down in flames again though.

And the shoot down begins....... I should know better by now.

yep i think i have no chance now of having another with DD2's shocking sleep at the moment

LOL, I must be a sucker for punishment, because despite two kids that rarely sleep through, I still want another bub!!

sorry the decision isnt getting any easier for you.

I too struggle with dh saying no more, he even wants the snip (my dr wont give it to him tho thank goodness). I know that forus having another baby in the next couple of years just isnt going to happen, DH is still not a kiddy person and I doubt he ever really will be, so tho I love him and he loves DS I dont htink I will bring another child into the world with a man that doesnt want another child...mother nature making us want more is just cruel!
