So, what are some of the lines you've heard from your children that you knew instantly meant trouble?
1. Muuum, come, look at the mess!!!!
2. Muuuum, look at me. I'm going to be Humpty Dumpty!!!

Well for me, it's what's not said that is usually the worry - you know, that total quiet that can only mean trouble. But also:
1. I'm burning down the house mum (while I was on a teleconference when working from home). The good news - he wasn't really, he was playing with the hose and pretending there was a fire he was putting out. The bad news - there were managers from all over Qld on the teleconference and they all heard!
2. Mum, I shouldn't do that, should I?
oh look at the big big big mess mummy
and "im painting" - i never want to hear that ... again !! he was painting with mascara !!!!!!
and obviously the swear words ...![]()
It wasn't me!
"We are playing in the snow mummy!", said with much glee after the three of them have just broken a styrofoam box (that I thought I had put away where they couldn't get it) into tiny little pieces and thrown around the room.
'I'm sprinkling sugar Mum' as DD1 twirled passed me - infact showering her room with talcum powder.....
also
'Uh oh.....'
"we made you breaky mum"... my 2 eldest when 2&3 had made breaky on the kitchen floor.... eggs, milo, milk, bread, sauce, everything, was all over the floor........![]()
My heart dropped when I heard Chase walk into the bedroom and say
Oh no oh no oh no crap oh crap Jaidan WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?????!
He had only pulled the train set apart but OMG talk about freak out!
