    Gross!! Ewww...!!!

If horses eat it - I don't. Same goes for hay, grass (including things that look like grass, ie alfalfa), and anything else horses eat.

Big fans here. Weather doesn't matter..

I love it for daycare when the kids have to go early as I can cook it the night before.

Love it! pinch of salt bit of brown sugar, made with milk not water so it is rich and creamy. I used to have a timer switch on the slow cooker and have it in there with chopped up pears. It would turn itself on at about 4 or 5 am and be just right by brekky time!!

Yay here!! Cook with half milk half water, I used to have it with brown sugar (probably too much mmmmm) now I have it plain and it's still yum! DS1&3 love it too.

Melbel what a good idea! Does your slow cooker have a start timer? Or did you use one of the plug in timer thingies?

Porridge lover...BUT I am very fussy and only use Uncle Tobys as I find the other brands aren't rolled as thin and always have a lot more chaff in them. I have tested this extensively since my DH is an oatmeal tightarse and has bought lots of other oats, always chaffy, take soooo much longer to cook (quick oats or otherwise). Roll em thin people. I also like to cook them in half water half milk on the stovetop so they have a nice creamy consistency.

Other caveat - beware the gas.

I prefer the stove top too Marydean, but I am keen to try the slow cooker method. I am so not a morning person so I'd have it more often if it's good

The gas, well the price you pay (or others do) for yummy creamy goodness

    LOVE IT!
It takes 20 heaped spoonfuls of oats to feed our family every morning.
We have it summer and winter.
Made with water on the stove and served with milk and brown sugar.

I like it with banana, oat milk and honey, but I dont' eat it that much as I LOVE toast I think oats is much healthier though and if I could walk past the toaster I'd eat oats every day

Coles have Carmen's Oats, but Woolworths don't from what I can tell, even though they have the other Carmans cereals. Black box, normally on the top shelf.
