Gross!! Ewww...!!!
If horses eat it - I don't. Same goes for hay, grass (including things that look like grass, ie alfalfa), and anything else horses eat.

Big fans here. Weather doesn't matter..
I love it for daycare when the kids have to go early as I can cook it the night before.
yay!!
DD has milk with hers but otherwise plain and i havemilk and a little sugar on top
Love it! pinch of salt bit of brown sugar, made with milk not water so it is rich and creamy. I used to have a timer switch on the slow cooker and have it in there with chopped up pears. It would turn itself on at about 4 or 5 am and be just right by brekky time!!
I LOVE PORRIDGE!!! i was just thinking today that its nearly porridge time again
i like it made on milk not water. i have it with honey usually. sometimes i put a bit of cinnamon in it and occasionally a bit of diced apple.
yum yum yum!!!!
Porridge lover...BUT I am very fussy and only use Uncle Tobys as I find the other brands aren't rolled as thin and always have a lot more chaff in them. I have tested this extensively since my DH is an oatmeal tightarse and has bought lots of other oats, always chaffy, take soooo much longer to cook (quick oats or otherwise). Roll em thin people. I also like to cook them in half water half milk on the stovetop so they have a nice creamy consistency.
Other caveat - beware the gas.
I prefer the stove top too Marydean, but I am keen to try the slow cooker method. I am so not a morning person so I'd have it more often if it's good
The gas, well the price you pay (or others do) for yummy creamy goodness

mmmmmm Golden syrup for me!!!!
LOVE IT!
It takes 20 heaped spoonfuls of oats to feed our family every morning.
We have it summer and winter.
Made with water on the stove and served with milk and brown sugar.![]()
I used a plug in timer thin hun on the power point.....worked a treat......
Love Love Love it here.
I usually have it with honey and warm milk Yummy![]()
I like it with banana, oat milk and honey, but I dont' eat it that much as I LOVE toastI think oats is much healthier though and if I could walk past the toaster I'd eat oats every day
blerch! not for me. DH eats it and will give DD a go when he makes it next. Hope she doesn't like it cos i'm not gonna make it, it stinks(need a better vomit pic)
Yay.. With honey or brown sugar and lots of milk.. Yummy.. My Grandmother used to make it for me![]()
i drown mine in golden syrup, and then tell myself i'm being really healthy having such a 'good' breakfast![]()
Coles have Carmen's Oats, but Woolworths don't from what I can tell, even though they have the other Carmans cereals. Black box, normally on the top shelf.
