My partner (31) and I (25) are a lesbian couple from the Gold Coast we will start TTC this month. We are using queensland fertility group at Pindara they have been great and really easy to deal with, the whole process has been smooth and stress free.

We considered using my partners brother as the donor but decided against it and used an unknown donor from the US because to us the cost of donor sperm $950 was a small price to pay for piece of mind in regard to legal rights of the child. We are lucky enough not to have any concerns from her family in regard to the child having a genetic link to her as I will be carrying.

Our fertility specialist will be doing a natural IUI cycle with me later this month, which is great no drugs or hormones as I have no known fertility problems, my scan was great and he says I am great candidate for the procedure. He is extremely positive about our potential for sucess.
