Yeah, I took the 'white privilege in the ay it was intended. Because I can see that in the questions & comments made. You don't completely understand it if you haven't lived it.
And yeah, there are plenty of people who are just plain lazy & choose to be ignorant, but there are people who really don't know better.
I didn't think the thread was started about the choices of the average person, but more the choices that people with lower incomes make. There are also people who aren't over weight making the same bad choices. Rather than being obviously over weight, they might have bad skin from the lack of fresh fruit, veg & water. They may just be generally unhealthy. There are also over weight people with medical consitions (think thyroid), who eat only the healthiest of foods, but will only loose weight if they take medication that makes them feel like they're high on speed. Some choose not to medicate.
Noone can judge anyone unless they do see their cupboards/fridge/trolley every week. Everyone has different lives & circumstances. Most of us are just trying to do the best we can, with the knowlege we have. Some of us choose the wrong choices, but they are the ones paying for it in the end when their health suffers.
