teepee - haven't been to see the midwife yet (tomorrow) but have a breastfeeding clinic to go to for diabetic mums on the 6th April. I'm hoping that they can give me a bit more information about what I need to do. I will have to organise a tour of the NICU as well. Glad to see that bubs isn't going to be a massive one for you and wow at only 3 more weeks to go. I have so much to do before this baby comes I kind of hope they don't induce me lol. Yay for having an paed that is a bit more flexible and that you get to keep bubs with you.

I'm kind of dreading tomorrow as I have a feeling they will up my insulin again and maybe put me on novorapid for breakfast as well and up my dinner dosage. They may even up my protophane (long lasting) as well. Not sure who I'm seeing tomorrow. Think it is the midwife and the endo and maybe the diabetic educator again. The next appointment after that should be with an ob as well as everyone else I have my growth scan on Monday so will get to see Phoebe again I'm looking forward to that. I just hope everything is ok with her.

Take care ladies and not long now for some of us. Hope it all goes well

Well had ultrasound done today and Frogglette is just right for age She is measuring 2.56kg or 5lb 11oz with a head circumference of 31.15cm and is dead on the 50th centile. I'm hoping she stays that way lol.

I saw the diabetes educator last week and yep they upped my long lasting so I'm now on 30 units of protophane at night as well as the 4 units of novorapid at dinner. I also saw a dr instead of the midwife (as she was really busy) and the dr was great. She told me heaps of stuff that the midwife wouldn't have but she did tell me that I'm likely to be induced between 38 and 39 weeks instead as I'm on the insulin. That means Frogglette could be here in 4 weeks time

Hope everyone else is doing ok and gets on and posts soon

Thats awesome news Kim!! Its a huge relief to hear that the baby is right on track size wise isnt it Even though im having a c/sect i was still worried about having a big baby LOL. Its great that your got to see a Dr too, there's always things the educators dont think to tell you or we dont think to ask. 4 weeks is going to fly by!!! Hope your insulin dosage stabalise now. My OB mentioned the other day that once you hit 36 weeks things usually settle down and sometimes the levels even decrease

Not much change from me. Insulin has increased slightly, im now on 70 units a day - but ive kind of stopped counting now LOL. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks to go!!
