What the!?!?! What is he basing that on?? I've always heard that lifetime Type 2 risk is 50%... unless you've got other risk factors too? So yes, our risk is higher than that of a normal population, but it's a risk, not an actual certified you WILL get type 2 diagnosis. I reckon you can NEVER say 100% unless you already had it! *stomps around indignantly*
Plus I've known plenty of women who had it in PG and didn't get it in later life!
