Hi Everyone,

Glad to see that you're going well Tenny & Stars.

Stars - From what I've heard you've probably passed the most tricky time to keep your BSLs in check. My endocrinologist said that 32-34 weeks is when there's most pressure put on your insulin and told me that if I got to 34 weeks then I'd be ok and wouldn't need insulin injections. I'm sure you're going to be just fine now. Not long to go.....

Tenny - Glad to hear I'm not going to be the only one having some naughty food!

Well, I had my first "naughty" meal last night since my GD diagnosis. I didn't do my BSL afterwards (I was scared and didn't want to have to wait up until 11pm do it anyway ). It was a fabulous meal and I savoured every mouthful of my cheesecake for dessert. Anyway BSL was totally fine this morn 4.2 (phew). It was totally worth the splash out. I had been totally strict with my diet until last night and I'm not planning on going crazy with food over the next few weeks but when we go out again I'm not going to deprive myself..... plenty of time for that after bubs arrives and I'm sweating it out on the treadmill trying to lose all those extra kilos

Anyway I have my "growth and well being" scan on Fri. I'll be a day short of 35 weeks. I'm excited about it but also a little nervous (of course). I hope we can get some great 3D images of bub and we'll definitely get the sex confirmed.... I don't like surprises.

I'm starting to feel on the countdown now - only 4 weeks to go (at the max) for me!

Have a great day!
