I loved the sleeping through the day. It meant I got everything done and managed to get a nice hot meal cooked for dinner. It didn't bother me that he wasn't sleeping as well through the night. It would have i think if he was one of those babies that wake every 2 hrs or so. But 6 hrs is great!! And it is still early days Do you leave a tv or radio on during the day?? I used to leave the tv on the music channel and the idea was to make the difference between night and day. ie day was noisy and light... night time is dark and quiet. I find now that Brendan will sleep under any condition during the day, I can vaccuum right next to his cot and not wake him.
