Hi All,
I have quietly been reading all your comments and finally thought I'd join the discussion.
Not sure if I am posting in the right place!!
I am 27 and have been trying to conceive for a year with Clomid due to PCOS. After a while of that our FS tested my husband (SB) and we discovered he has low count/ motility & antibodies. Great! you never think you'll be a statistic, but twice!! So anyway we are about to commence our IVF pathway. I am waiting to start the pill prior to stimulating the ovaries.
I am absolutely terrified of male doctors going where only a husband should go. Does anyone have any suggestions on how they overcame this? Is it really as bad as I am picturing? Everything is so foreign at the moment and my mind is hyperactive.
I am anxious about the transfer also. People say not to expect it to work the first time, but it's hard not to get your hopes up. It is such a daunting road ahead that doesn't have a timeline......I can't help thinking how long I will feel anxious and the hurt of not yet being a mother is almost unbearable. Someone please help me!!
