Kind of defeats the purpose If people ring to clarify and you say yes that the rest of the family are invited. No wonder people get confused cos they just assume that yeah last time I rang someone they said yes don't want to look stupid asking again. Just saying.

For a kids first birthday party I would assume my child was invited would be different if it was for a different occasion though.
