Lots of people say they know me IRL.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) I'm not that good with names and I usually have NO idea who they are. Oops!!!

Kazzo, you could just say you recognise her from her blog, especially if she has pictures on it. I think I know who you're talking about. Given her history, she'd probably appreciate being told, especially if you see her regularly.

I'd rather someone told me if hey knew me from BB. Mainly because I kind of feel like I'm eavesdropping if I don't tell someone. I would have no issue itch someone saying 'hey! I know you from BB'. I would have an issue with someone reading my posts/thoughts and pretending they didn't. This is a public place, as is a blog so you almost need to expect that people will recognize you, particularly if you post pics and personal details.

I prefer to be recognized due to my ridiculously glamourous, revoltingly high paid international supermodel career.

I often wonder if anybody has figured out who I am. Wish they'd tell me if they did.

Personally I would love for someone to come up to me and say hi if they know me through here. When we moved here, its because of one member, who rarely uses BB these days, that I have the friends I have here.
What I say on here I stand by in person. If I am venting then I will probably vent the same things to my close friends. Yes there are some things that I like to keep in here, but of we have an understanding that what is said on BB stays on BB then I have no problem.

But in your case Kazzo I would bring it up via the blog.

ETA, just wanted to add that bb is my safe haven, but I have a lot of trust in you all and I think that makes the situation less freaky.

I'm pretty much the same as BAL and Jungle. As far as I know I've never come across anyone IRL from BB but am often wondering!

Yeh I think I may vaguely know you

I concur with the other wonderful advice, go from the point of the blog which is more public arena than here (especially if they were platinum and you mentioned something in passing that they'd only put in platinum, which isn't googleable)

I'm open about a lot of my life, so there are things out there on me.

But also intensely private, so if you google my personal email address the only things you find are from at least 5-10 years ago, you can't find me if you google my name, well you can find people with my name, but you can't find me Don't show up on a FB search either.

I would prefer people tell me they know me off here. Most BB people I know I used here to meet them IRL rather than stumble across them.

If I google my username it's the first thing that comes up

Coming from a small town there are only a couple of bb users and I have met all of them, unless there are new ones
Where I work I would have a high chance of running into bbers anyway

I guess if you send her a PM - she will get an email that says someone has messaged her..... "I think I met you the other day....blah blah blah..."

I'd be a bit freaked out if it was me.... but... it'd be kinda cool too
