    Hi lovely ladies

Sorry I have been absent - these drugs are making me very tired

    A big hi to everyone!

Vicki and Ellie - haven't seen you ladies around for so long. Take care of yourselves and looking forward to hearing more from you both.

BW - I am sorry to hear that you are having negative feelings. I really hope that things turn out for the best for you.

BG - I hope you are doing ok in the TWW as well. Resist the urge to POAS - you know they never work

Sonya - I am not that far behind you. I am on day 6 of puregon today. This is my first time on puregon - I have had a bit of bloating, but then I did on the gonalF as well, and it tends to come in the afternoon and is fine by morning. I can feel changes in my ovaries but don't have any real pain like you have described. I think you need to talk to your clinic if you are still concerned.

Holly - hope all is going well with you. Did you b/t results come back all ok? Hope the business is continuing to go well so you and DH can move forward to the next part of your future predicition!

Megan - that is a b*gger about your b/t results. I can't believe the specialist charged you so much money to not give you any answers. I really hope that the weekend flys by quickly for you and that your results on Monday give you more answers than questions!

A quick update on me -went for first b/t and scan and all is looking good. Might even be our most successful cycle yet (hope I am not jinxing us by saying that ). Follies are a good size which means I get to move on to HGH starting tomorrow morning. So now 2 injections per day. But - this is the first time ever this has happened - I also reduce my puregon dose from tonight. Looks like my FS's idea about my eggs being poisoned might be right. Or it might also be the herbs I am on, and the low GI/low carb/high protein eating plan, and the reduced stress levels... who knows but it seems to be working! Next b/t is Monday morning with scan likely on Wednesday. I am hoping for a trigger Wednesday night and pick-up Friday.... but I am getting ahead of myself now aren't I? I just can't help feeling different about this cycle and am doing well at staying positive. I really hope we are 3rd time lucky!

Anyway, gotta go. Going out to dinner with our visitor - just a quick meal - have to be back in time for my puregon. And then shopping tomorrow -yay - a girl's day out. I can't remember when I had one of those last.

Have a great weekend everyone. I will try to pop in again soon.
    xxxx

woo hoo Chez - sounds like it's al moving a long beautifully. i don't think it matters which change has helped, as long as one of them has!!!

as for me - the pee sticks are in the drawer - teasing me mercilessly! but, they remain in the drawer.... i think BW and i are on switcheroo days - i've had the plummet into stress and negativity today! BW, maybe you need to be kickin my butt now like i did yours!

Chez, I'm a mighty big fan of David's eating plan. Without it I'd never have had a fresh transfer. I know he also takes the high doses of FSH poison the body approach, and I'm hoping like anything that the HGH is also going to be helpful... with all three things going in your favour, it would be easy to be feeling so positive right now! I hope it stays this way for you.

BG, I'm sure I can find some butt-kicking boots around here somewhere...

At least it made you happy!

Perhaps may be more helpful than the boots?

Thanks for your support and positive thoughts BG and BW!

Well yesterday was day 1 of my HGH. And after mixing it together - it's a bit like pregnyl - one vial of liquid and one vial of powder, everything seemed to be going well. I headed off to the shops with my girlfriend for a day of shopping and catching up. Then a few hours later I got a massive blood sugar drop and felt all dizzy. This is one of the side effects listed, along with high blood sugar Anyway, that went after a few minutes sitting down and a cup of coffee with a sugar to tide me over until we could get to a cafe with some decent food! Today, about one hour after the HGH, I got several waves of nausea that lasted on and off for about an hour or so. So it seems that this HGH stuff has its own interesting set of side effects. Oh well, only another 4 more days to go. I am off for another b/t tomorrow morning and hopefully will know more. I have been doing my dates over and over and the way I have it figured, I would be timed for a pick up on Saturday, but I don't think the clinic does them on the weekend. And with a follie that was already 16mm last Friday, I am concerned that it will be over mature if we leave it too long. The other follies I had were 13mm and one was 11mm. But what if I still only get one egg and that is in the dominant follie? Sometimes I think I am not veery good at this whole waiting and trusting thing!

BG - I hope your TWW is almost nearing its end and that your BFP is only days away from being annnounced to us all here on BB who are waiting with breaths held, fingers and toes crossed, down on our knees praying so hard for you

To everyone else, I hope you are enjoying your Mother's Day. Take care all,
    Chezxxx

HGH sounds like nasty stuff Chez! as long as it's doing it's thing though.... it's possible that the FS is pushing you a little further along even knowing that your largest follie was bigger so that they can make sure those smaller follies are ripe. i guess one over ripe and a few decent eggies is better than one ripe egg and a heap of immature ones!!

yes, my BT looms. will be announcing resuls one way or another before the end of the week!

Chez, trust them! I'm not sure that they regularly do Saturday collections, but remember that David forced the hospital to open on a Sunday just for me last time... they will do what's right for you. I hope the HGH eases up - it sounds nasty!

Stim number three may have got me to a fresh transfer... but I haven't completely avoided OHSS. Those who have wandered past my journal will already know, and others would be able to guess by now... It's a BFP for us this time, but I'm still VERY nervous... and the OHSS is making me feel completely revolting. So, Chez... third time lucky it is!

Thanks ladies. Yes, I know I should trust the clinic. I guess I am a little more apprehensive about putting myself completely in their hands when I am 300km away! But I will have to try to quell that part of my personality and have some faith in the process. So far things seem to be working out for us. Hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky for us both BW! And BG, thanks for your words of support also. Take care both of you.

Just popping on although I haven't anything exciting to say!!

I haven't got the results of the BT... Lou was saying today that it can take up to 2 weeks - Its been a week tomorrow, but I refuse to call Dr S's office on a Monday as the receptionist he has on Mondays is a dragon lady and her answer to any question is 'I have no idea, and Dr S is at the Bondi clinic on Mondays....' so,I'll call Tuesday and speak to the lovely receptionist that is there every other day of the week

DH does his sample Wednesday, and then we can finally start to get a plan happening

Chez - Have faith, hun - This cycle ALREADY sounds fantastic compared to the others I'll keep positive for you!!!

BW - Already sent the text and posted in your journal, but I could say it a million times over and not tire of it - YAY!!!! SOOO happy for you hun, and I just know things will be fine

BG - Hows that straight jacket feeling... need it pulled a little tighter???!!!
Not long to go now, hun... here's hoping that BW has started off an EXTREMELY contagious group of positives in here Am thinking of you and hoping for the very, very best xxx

A big HI to everyone else - hope you have all had a wonderful weekend - we had a quick trip 300kms north this weekend to become Godparents of my neice, so had a very special day today

    Angry

this sums up how i feel!!!!!

had my scan. on my right ovary is a huge cyst like thing that has been absorbing most of the puregon, apparently it is very common. my left ovary had 2 follies at 20-21cm and another at 14cm. FS specialist said there is no point me having any more puregon and probably have epu weds if bt is good.
on the good side to this my endometrium is at 14cm.... awesome!
FS only expecting 6-7 follies all up and only a few eggs out of it. fingers crossed that i prove him wrong or at least most of the eggs fertilize like last time.
so trigger at 8.15pm tonight as bt was good. then booked into hosp for 7am weds.

keep your fingers crossed for me ladies. at least i can say goodbye to synarel....
