I'm not entirely sure how severe things have to be before they send all embryos to the freezer, but I do know that OHSS gets worse with pregnancy, and the times that I've had it bad enough to not be able to transfer... there's no way in hell I'd have coped if it got worse! Think a week or so in hospital, having to have fluid drained off your belly (I never got that bad, fortunately!)... worst case scenario is that they have to terminate the pregnancy to keep you alive. If they are suggesting that transfer be delayed and all embryos go to the freezer - don't fight it! They are acting in your best interest, really.

Well all went well, had my transfer this morning and im happy to report that 7 out of 9 embies made it to Blastie wo we have 6 on ice!

I was expecting 50% survival to blast so i was quite excited when i heard that, and the embryologist said they were all excellent quality, made it hard for them to choose one for today! Lets hope the quality makes a difference and the embie sticks. I have bt on 19th May, a little over a week away. Is that earlier than normal? i mean i thought it was a TWW?

Congratulations, Jules. Blood tests for blasts always seem ridiculously early. It's because they count two weeks from EPU, not transfer. Good luck, and once again, congratulations on those fantastic embryos!
