3rdTL, I've heard of Adenomyosis before, but never been diagnosed. My periods have been a lot lighter for the last 10 months for some reason. Anyway, I made an appt with the GP to discuss the bleeding and will also ask for a new referral to the FS (mine expired in February).

I have adenomyosis. I was diagnosed about 10 years ago. Basically, you bleed into the muscle wall which causes the pain.
