Sorry, I'm out of the loop as usual. Work is still crazy busy and I'm having trouble finding more than 5 mins to check in. For example, right now I really should be doing something else, but stuff it... I'm going to be so relieved when Christmas gets here!
So, apologies for no personals, but here's an update on me.
We saw the FS this morning and we can just fit in our cycle before Christmas. But only if AF shows up on (or very close to) 30 Nov. Apparently our FS is on holidays from 19/12 on, but he said he'd come in on 21/12 for our transfer if needs be. But, if AF shows up on time and I need my usual 12 days of stims, we should have EPU around 14/12. He did suggest I may stim quicker with the Orgulantran, but not necessarily.
So, the big changes from our previous 3 cycles:
1. Antagonist protocol - no synarel! Not sure how the orgulantran shots are in comparison to the ones I've done before (puregon, ovidrel, pregnyl), but hopefully there'll only be a few (especially with the $$).
2. I asked about combination FSH/LH meds and he said we may do some low dose hcg starting halfway through the stim phase, but he'd think more about it.
3. We're adding low dose aspirin prior to and after EPU (except for a few days before EPU). He said we could start this now in case we caught an egg this cycle.
4. We may try for blastocyst transfer. That could be difficult if we get our usual crop of 3 decent embies, but DH & I have a couple of weeks to work out what we want. I've been thinking about this for a while and am tempted to try for it in spite of the risk of having nothing to transfer.
Oops, that was more 5 mins, but that was only because work intruded.
Anyone who's done low dose aspirin, when do you take it - morning or night? I didn't think to ask the FS if it mattered.
Ok, my spreadsheet is beckoning... Hopefully I'll have more time tomorrow.
