Hi ladies, Thanks fore all the positive thoughts you have sent my way,

Leabie: In answer to your TMI question, I don’t think I had that when I was on pregnyl for the IUI but I certainly have it now!!!! So maybe it is a good sign!

Terry: Only a few more days to go, I think your test is one Thursday which is the same day as my scan. I hope we both have positive news.

Juniper: Thanks for the info, have you got the results back yet?

Brunette: I hope your EPU on Friday was not too traumatic and you got some good results.

Meltcc- Good to hear from you. I hope you enjoy the next couple of months and that they are stress free. A big ask at this time of year I know.

Coral- Thanks for the information, I will try the thread. I imagine that there are so many people at different stages that it will be difficult to keep up with everyone.

Mellybelly- How frustrating for you, at least they have discovered whats going on which will mean a little less time wasted. Although it is difficult now that you will probably have to wait until next year.

Motherhood- Sounds very promising. I had to laugh at your POAS saga, because I did exactly the same I numbered them by the day, compared how dark it was and watched how quickly they lines came up. I finally stopped when I did a test and the pregnancy line came up before the control line.

Meo- I hope this round is a success for you, I ahd exactly the same letter and I have to say exactly the same feelings. Although, DH and I already had all the checks done because they wouldnt let us start without them. So I dont know why I got the letter!

Milly-As far as I know it shouldn’t affect you unless your DH has to go into hospital. The only things I claim on insurance are the hospital visit and some medications

Emerald and Littlemiss- I hope those follies grow nice and big over the weekend and your EPUs go well next week.

To everyone else out there I haven’t mentioned have a lovely weekend.

    Hi lovely ladies!

Hope you're all enjoying your weekends.

Emstar - GL for your EPU on Monday and Littlemissmoo - GL for Tues Hope you both get oodles of eggies!

Sonyalouise and Juniper76 - thanks for that, don't know what to make of it all, at least its a DIFFERENT sign this time, so that's something... although haven't had any tingles today, now I want them back! I'm never satisfied...

Milly5 - bummer about the health fund stuff, I agree with the others - the males get have hardly any expense compared to us... yet another reason they have it easy! Hehe

Brunette - posted in the TWW thread, but glad all went well! As for the glass vials, I always put a folded tissue over them to try and avoid what happened to DH...

Hi to Loops12, Meo, Mellybelly81 and everyone that I've missed, sorry.

AFM - have my BT next Fri, but found out DH won't be home from PNG for it Not to worry, hopefully he'll come home to good news

    Hi all,

Just popping over from the TWW.

Emmstar & Littlemissmo good luck for your EPU's this week.

Hi to everyone else wherever you are this week. I can see that lots has happened while I was away in Adelaide this week. I will try to catch up over the next couple of days.

AFM ... DS was in hospital which turned out to be a great diversion, I had my blood test today and am so P'd off as the nurse said she would ring me late morning, no call, i rang lunch time and they sad she would call, still waiting.

I am booked in to see our GP on Monday so if they still haven't rang me he can do the bloods again and I will get the results Monday afternoon.

Anyway I stayed in the city til 3pm then did the 2 hour drive home without the results, but since tuesday have been getting a positive when I POAS, and its now within seconds, I posted photos over in the tww, so with everything crossed for confirmation, it should be a BFP.

    Hey Rob
just popping in to say that if the bloods were done at a larger company (QML in my case) the GPs/FSs etc can all go online and read them. So if you don't hear from the clinic maybe pop into GP. just a thought. fingers and toes all crossed for you x

Hi ladies Hope everyone is having a lovely lazy Sunday morning.

Milly - I think the sperm analysis was covered in my costs. From memory the only money my partner had to cough up for was a sperm assay test of $150. The boys get off pretty easy. Private health insurance is very frustrating. I upgraded in advance for trying to conceive. I thought the 12-month wait would apply only to pregnancy, not the IVF. So imagine my disappointment when my first IVF cycle was about 2 weeks off the 12-month wait and we were not covered! Very annoying, but then the good thing was we had met the Medicare safety net and got 80% back off all other cycles/doctors visits etc.

    Emstar - for Monday.

    LMM - for Tuesday

    Rob - for Monday.

Melttc and Meo - I am not fully apprised of the Victorian police check, but I noticed a thread about it elsewhere. Unbelievable if you have to get a screening check before you can do another round of IVF. What are the bureaucrats thinking?

MHIC - When do you find out for sure if it's a BFP so you can tell family/friends? I hate POAS, probably because every time I have done there's only one testing line that I see ... After last time and I was rolled up in a ball on the bed crying myself silly, I vowed no more POAS for me until I get a BFP from BT and then I'll do one

AFM, thanks to everyone who wished me well for my EPU. It went better than expected, and had 15 eggs when expecting only 8. We do ICSIs, and two follices were uninjectible. So, of 13 eggs, 11 have fertilised. This is our best result yet so

MHIC, those numbers sound wonderful! Congratulations! Sounds like you've done it!

Milly, we have never used DH's insurance (we have separate insurances too). Unless he is being admitted to hospital (eg TESE) there shouldn't be any need.

Sonyalouise, no results yet. We should see him tomorrow.

Afm, I'm about to head out to pick up some protein powder. I started spotting last night so AF is on the way and we should be kicking off IVF#4 as soon as she's here!

    Hi Everyone,

Well, I took my trigger last night I was due to take it at 09:30pm, so get everything ready at 09:15 as usually it takes me ages to do the needles, I tend to sit there pushing it in a little at a time rather than do a quick jab, so thought i'd give myself 15 minutes to get the job done. But I managed to get it in first go, so sat there with the needle hanging out of my stomach for 5 - 10 minutes waiting for it to get closer to 09:30, my husband thought I was crazy!!

But i've woken up this morning expecting to feel really bloated, but my stomach feels suprisingly normal. Now i'm worried that i've some how ovulated early, how did you all feel before pick up??

Hope things are continuing to travel well for you all

Hi LittleMiss, I am usually a little bloated before pick-up but to tell you the truth what I notice most is the stinging/itchy sensation from the trigger injection. I hate those triggers! The site on my stomach where I inject is red and itches/stings for up to two days afterwards!

Good luck for your EPU tomorrow.

    Hiya Ladies,

Well not to rain on Rob's parade but I too have just popped on over from the 2ww to share my news. After a very long wait (4WW lol) and constant BT's (3 over the past 2 1/2wks) the results are in and its a :BFP: for sure . HCG levels today registered at 2580 up from the 518 I had last Thurs morning. FS is happy and wants me to book in for our first ultrasound next Thurs.

    Congrats to you, too, MHIC

I am only a relative newcomer, so I don't know if this is the norm, but it seems like this month there have been a lot of people falling preggers! Maybe there's something in the water ...
