Whilst, I'm not quite in the same league as the rest of you (a 1-1.5 day AF! ), mine has been lighter than normal this cycle too!

Faye, I had that happen last cycle - some light bleeding one night, then nothing for 24 hours and then AF started late the next night.

Soooo.... It's a good thing AF has been lighter this cycle since he went ahead and did a pap smear, pelvic exam and u/s (AFC was 4). I know it's routine, but ewwww...

Also had a heap of b/w done, as did DH (who was "lucky" enough to finish work in time to walk up the hill and join me for the b/t!! ).

We're jumping straight into an injects+IUI cycle, starting the FSH tomorrow. If DH's testing comes back with good results, we'll switch to injects+TI next time. I don't feel ready for IVF yet... He gave us a 6-7% chance with the IUI (and similar for TI if DH's boys are all good), so he's willing to trigger with as many as 4 follicles. He said the risk of twins would be less than 0.5% and even lower for higher order multiples. I'm still a little freaked out by the idea of 4 (even knowing that the odds of having 1 viable one is so low), but we'll see what we have when it's time to trigger and how I feel about it. He has also added clexane and prednisone to the protocol (and recommended DHEA and melatonin, along with a truckload of other supplements).

Today has been such a whirlwind. It all feels so unreal... I was at the clinic for 2.5 hours and then another hour at the GP (to get the referral, which I couldn't get an appt to get before the FS appt), so we got home at 7pm (and, with everything buzzing about my head, forgot we had to pick up DH's car from the train station, so MIL had to drive him there on her way home after she babysat DD all afternoon for me).

Oh, and today is day 5 without sugar* for me! I'm down 2kg but that could just be due to random fluctuations... (*except for some alcohol)
