Just so you all know I have been stalking but just keeping quiet, waiting on the next appointment with FS (next Tuesday morning)
I think I have been a bit depressed since the MC and have not had much motivation but I am really trying to get myself sorted and even made the effort to start cleaning my office - I can actally see my desk now and can get on the computer!!
I am pretty sure this is normal but anyone looking in not in the TCC situation would probably not get it and I know you all do xx thanks for being here for eachother and for me xx

kbudgie, glad to hear your spirits are up! GL with your FS appointment hun!

I've also been keeping low. I find myself so unmotivated lately especially as my cycle always ends up being pushed out, I'm just so sick of it all. My last one was in July last year, I was supposed to do one in September and was trying really hard to do a November one if needed, neither eventuated, then I planned a January, then a March cycle this year which also didn't happens so I am just so over it. I don't even feel excited about it now, I'm going through the motions but with no excitement in sight. Sorry for the ramble! On a brighter note, I've made my nurse appointment for mid April to start a cycle in that month. So this is it ladies, it's booked in and I tell ya if this one goes to poo, I give up

Hope everyone is travelling OK, I promise I'll try harder to keep on top of it all and touch base in here more often.

faye, letrozole is also known as femara (in case you wanted to do some googling). I've heard it can have fewer s/e than clomid and is a better option for many women but not everyone responds well to it. I think it's definitely a good one to try and will keep my FX for you!

Ceejelz, I hope the test timing brings you better luck than it did us. Only a few days to go...

kbudgie, these losses can throw us for a loop and leave a much bigger hole in our hearts than we ever imagine. I knew it would take me months to get over our mm/c, but I never expected it to take a year to really start to feel more normal. When I tell you it's still early days, I really mean it. I think it's great that you are re-finding your motivation so soon and I hope that means you will be feeling better before too long, not because you think you have to but because you're truly ready.

Miss.B, sending some hugs your way too. I forbid this cycle to go to poo like the others! This is the one! And I have to insist that you get a BFP too, okay?!

Hi Everyone, Just thought I should check in as I have been awol for a while!

I am 5dpo (Puregon and TI cycle as usual). I'm afraid I've been feeling a bit negative and down too (like lots in here ) so have just been trying to ignore this cycle. the endless cycle of hope and discappointmnet is exhausting and the mc has been on my mind a lot as the due date is looming in April. Just finding it tough I guess. Hoping I can just ignore the whole thing a bit longer, but I guess as I came on here that's not happening lol. Wish I could just go to sleep and wake up 14dpo and not have to go through the whole am I/aren't I torture and peeing on a stick every 3 hours next week.

There are so many in here I'm not gojng to do persies but I am stalking and sending you all lots of love and strength, and the best luck in universe!

Lyra, hugs to you, hun. It's always that bit more stressful when one of those significant dates is looming. I hope you get a pleasant surprise at the end of this 2ww. I know what you mean about wanting to just stick your head in the sand during the 2ww. I find it easier to ignore what I'm doing and concentrate on what others are doing.

Emma I was on it weeks 4-34 due to blood clotting dis order. It's very stingy sometimes more than others. Make sure inject at 45 degree angle and don't what ever you do rub the skin after!
It's yuk but worth it of course good luck hun x

Emma, I was on clexane last cycle. It's the only injection I've ever iced for (and I did it from the first one because of its reputation). Most of mine were okay, but I had a couple that hurt like blazes! The needle is a bigger gauge, so it requires more force to get it through the skin. That's a problem for a needle-phobe like me, but one that I can deal with - it just meant each injection took some time. The other problem (and the reason some of them hurt like blazes) is that the solution itself can sting as it goes in. Those few ouchie shots I had to inject a small amount at a time, wait for the sting to subside and then do a bit more, wait more, a bit more, etc... I don't know why there were those few that hurt a lot when most of them didn't? Maybe I hit a nerve on those ones? It had to be something to do with the spot I chose, but it wasn't something I could predict (if you work it out, let me know, because I'm sure I'll be back on it next cycle!). Thankfully though, it was just 2 or 3 shots out of the almost-30 I did, so most of them were fine. The only other issue is that I had some very impressive bruises (particularly from the ouchie ones)! And I'm not talking petite little things like you sometimes get from the FSH, I'm talking the size of 2x 20c coins side-by-side and black as night! Funnily enough, they seemed to alternate sides - I had a huge one on the right for about a week, then, just as it was fading, one showed up on the left and then the right again. It was kind of funny... The bruises didn't particularly hurt, they just looked nasty.

Sorry, that probably sounds a bit scary, but, honestly, most of them were fine. However, it's better to know that there is the potential for it to hurt so that it doesn't catch you unawares.

    *edit*
I did all of mine straight in, not at 45 degrees. But I have plenty of "padding"...

It's not something you'd do for fun, but I've been through worse in the name of TTC...

I've done Clexane for almost all of my cycles. I find quick and on a slight angle in a fleshy bit of your stomach works best.

    Good luck Emma

    ***stalking***

There are a few tricks with clexane.

    1) make sure you pick a nice fleshy spot and pinch up a good amount of skin.

    2) inject at an angle and like a dart, helps to pierce the skin better.

    3) inject slowly, as the liquid is thick and stingy

    4) don't rub the site afterwards, unless you want lots of bruising. But if it stings, a tip I've heard is to just apply pressure to site (not rubbing).

Ugh FS just left a message . My sugar level is a bit high. We don't add sugar to any meals. There is not sugar in the house. I eat fruit and drink wine. That's it. Wine is once a week. Really? Got to speak to FS yet, but I think they will question my FET cycle. We have salad EVERY night too! Ugh!
