    Hi Everyone

I've been absent for a little while too - Just seem to be really busy with everything, although nothing in particular

Welcome to everyone new - and I really need to go back and read the posts to catch up on where everyone is at, but just thought I'd pop back in again!

We had a quick trip to Melbourne last week - managed to see Antonia before we went to the soccer.

She said she's really happy with how my body feels - actually she said she couldn't be happier with how I've responded to everything!
She said my body is ready now, and is keeping us on the tonics just for general health, but said I'm ready so its just about waiting and trusting now.... so thats all good news!

Apart from that, nothing exciting to tell - I'm on CD 22 at the moment - had a therapy session with Antonia on CD 15, which she said was really good timing for ovulation.
After the session she said I might be a little tender as she 'worked' on my ovaries... honestly - it was a long night sitting in the uncomfortable chairs at the MCG afterwards!
About an hour after the session I felt like I had just come out of EPU!!!! At least I know whatever she did was doing something!!!

So now we wait for this cycle and see how it turns out - and then keep working on each cycle after that if we need too

Will catch back up later on so I can do a few personals xxx

    Love Holly

    Megan, good luck tomorrow!

    Sonya!!

Mon that result sounds so draining, all the best for the one on board.

Bec, much love to you. Its not fair.

Nat - books I have read and enjoyed are Getting Pregnant the Hard Way that was already mentioned, and Sex at 6pm: A personal journey through IVF by Annarosa Berman.

Holly, Sounds like lots is going on in there for you! All the best.

I saw my FS and worried for nothing, we are all set to start our first IVF cycle. She did a quick scan whilst I was there and my lining is perfect and now I am to start the pill tomorrow!!! A surprise, but we are excited. I feel really odd about it all. Overwhelmed and still really negative and like it won't work. I wish I felt more positive. I don't know where my mojo has gone! The reality of returning to treatment has hit I think.

Rols - How are you and DW going?
Hi Nat. Both fine. Pretty relaxed and optimistic about FET when it happens. DW mega tired at the moment, just like she was on cycle. Weird!

    Good Morning

Baby - Yay im glad they listened and you feel more in control and are happy with the IVF decision

Rols - Glad you guys are so positive, as for DW being tired sometimes it takes a little while for the body to recover from all the hormones and get back to normal again.

Holly - Great to see you popping back in and sounds as though everything is great and Antonia is very confident about you!

Sonya- any news? did you POAS again?

Well TWW is dragging here, just trying to kick back and not get stressed and hopefully they are snuggling in tight!

Rols - it took me weeks to get energy back after stim cycle... i think its coz of all the hormonal changes that have gone on in your body. take care both of you

Me have all the signs of AF, bad cramps back pain and irritability, but HPT this morning was still a faint positive. slightly darker than Sundays... so maybe its my embie snuggling right in and growing. i do have to remember im only 43kg and have a severe curvature of the spine, so my body is very sensitive to change.

fingers crossed its a positive BT on Saturday.

hope everybody is doing well, take care, chat soon...

    Hi Everyone,

Went away for a long weekend which really helped us relax about life in general. It is just so easy to get caught up in the rat race, isn't it?

Saw Antonia last week before we went on our escape. Both DH and I had some Pulse Therapy. We both just love it. I guess you could say we've become addicted. Antonia is very happy with our progress. Our energy is flowing very well now she said.

We are both on the herbal tonics and though we are working quite long hours at the moment are finding we have much more energy than in the past. We are not too focussed on TTC at the moment but have decided to prepare our bodies first (Antonia's philosophy). Feeling a little guilty about my long work hours so am glad we managed to get away for a short break.

Sonya-Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Holly - Glad you managed to come down to visit Antonia.

Hello to everyone else and sending you lots of positive vibes.

    Love,
    Kerri

Hi everyone. Just a quick one from me as DH is getting dinner organised.
This morning was EPU and we got 8 eggs. I am so relieved to have had a much better result than last time. We didn't get home until nearly 3 this afternoon so it's been a long day. I am quite sore and have had a bit of bleeding which I haven't had before. So, I have really just slept and rested since we've been home. I would say I will be doing the same tomorrow.
Thank you everyone for your well wishes.

    Hi Megan,

Congrats on the 8 eggies! Rest up! Cant believe I had my EPU a week ago ... I can still feel the pain! I had bleeding too ... they say its normal. There was a pool of blood on the sheet when I got up after EPU (sorry if TMI), even up to a few days later old blood was coming out ... maybe it was cause I had so many eggs.

Are you on the crinone now? Man I have been getting cramps ... guessing its the crinone ... just had one now! sorry if TMI!

Smithy good luck with BT and US!

Holly ... welcome back! How great that you and Kerri are seeing Antonia ... she sounds amazing! I'd see her if I was in Melb that s for sure!

Sonya, Shannon ... how nice that our embies are snug and tucked in! Sending lots of vibes so they stick for the next 9 months!!!

Baby bliss and Bec ... goodluck on your upcoming cycles! BB I know how it easy it is to keep being negative. I have tried to counteract every negative thought with 2 positives! Was reading this article about the 'nocebo' effect (Can PM if anyone interested). Anyway its the opposite of the placebo effect ... ie studies had been done on how if you thought negative it actually eventuated. So best to squash those negative thoughts! Go the power of Positivity! To everyone! I am victim of it too and hate being so negative at times! Definitely feel better once start thinking postively though! All the best though!
Nat ... hope you've found some good books to read up on and inspire you!

All the best everyone! 9 days till BT! I am going to hold out and not do a HPT!

    Take care

    Hi Everyone,

Hi to all the new faces here. Hope you are all finding this forum helpful and informative.

Sonya - hope all is going smoothly for you and that you get a good result this time.

Rols - how are you both going? DW tired? Thats normal. Hope you are both well.

Loula - hope you are keeping well too.

    Brissys Girl - hi there.

Mum of 5 - where did you go? Are you ok?

I have been offline too for quite some time, needed to get my head together. I cancelled our August transfer (which was so terribly hard, like another loss) and went to the Golden Door Elysia in the Hunter Valley to detox & chill for a week & a half. Prof told me to and I left DH at home. Best thing I have done for a very long time. I remembered who I was before all this started. I feel fantastic & rejuvenated and looking forward to a good transfer late this month. 40 progesterone pessaries & 3 pregnyls to do when given the go ahead.

Has anyone heard what has been going on with the couple suing their FS for her falling preg with twins & she only wanted one? My girlfriend was telling me today and I cant fathom this. I think she is blessed & I will have one if she doesnt want it! What are your views?

    Hi Everyone
Megan - Congrats on those eggs thats fantastic
Traceylee - I saw this on the news tonight and thought how selfish can these people be. Here we are battling to have one and they are complaining of being given the miracle of having two. And how sad for the innocent children having parents fight about not wanting them both in court.

Ok I agree the doctor did do wrong but if it was me, once I saw the childrens little faces I would be thanking god for giving me not one but two miracles.
