there is a thread about the above topic. me - i could never call my children a burden! and even with one embryo you risk it dividing into identical twins... but i could go on and on. i just hope the mothers treat both littlies equally and dont focus too much on financial retribution.

ME------ DID A CLEAR BLUE DIGITAL HPT.................................PREGNANT!!!!!! !! that was what the screen said after about 60 secs!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!! can it finally be true. i know this is only one step of many, but the ball is well and truly rolling BT in two days!!!

Megan, well done on the eggs. And I read your journal where you said DH's sample was betetr so that's great. Good job.

Sonya, congratulations! I think the answer is pretty obvious now! Excellent news.

Hi to everyone else, I'm still reading all the posts and keeping up with you all.

As for the accidental double embie transfer - here is the thread - get into it, it's a good debate.

ETA: Mon, can you send me the link to that article. Thanks.

    HI Everyone

I still can't seem to get on here long enough to read AND write at the moment!!!!!

Can I start by saying - Sonya - WOOO HOOO!!!!!!!!
Congrats sweetie, this is just fantastic news xxx

Megan - I am so so happy for you, great to hear your numbers & that DH's sperm was better this time - Wonderful news xx
I will have to read through your journal and catch up properly xxx

Smithy - Thinking of you for Friday - Everything will be perfect, I just know it xxx

A big big to everyone else - Give me a day or two to catch back up properly

Me - Well, CD 24 - Feeling extremely tired and a little off today.
Have the beginnings of sore BB's, and a little eww in the tummy, but this seems to be a re occurring thing for me these days at AF time so not reading into anything!
The lumps on my legs have been coming and going - Asked Antonia about them, and my NP here, - they are both a little perplexed, a bit like the doctor.
My NP here just thinks my body has had so much tonifying in the last 12 months that its mostly just a reaction to that???

They are pretty horrible today, and very sore - But I had a session of acupuncture yesterday and its alomst AF time, so I figure between all of the movement of everything inside and hormones at their peak, no wonder!

I will wait to see what happens with AF this cycle, and maybe seek a 2nd doctors opinion in a week or two.

Hope everyone is doing great - So so nice to read some positive news in here!!!
Sonya, I hope your positive vibe is contagious!!!!!

    Love Holly

    Congratulations Sonya!!!

Have just had a call from my nurse. We have 5 embies. Of the eight eggs collected, they were able to ICSI 6. All fertlised, but one was lost over night leaving us with 5. Transfer will be Saturday. I just hope there are still 5 when we get there on the weekend. I would love to be able to have a couple in the deep freeze!

Holly, I hope all your little niggles are for a good cause
Shannon, I hate crinone too. I am definitely not looking forward to it. It's not fair that all the side effects of crinone can also be a symptom of pregnancy. I start that on saturday after transfer. woo hoo! lol

    A big hi to all!
Great to hear some good news in here - a huge Congrats to you Sonya. Those HCG levels must be alright as those digital tests aren't all that sensitive. Woohooh!
Megan - I'm so pleased to see you've had better results this time. That must be a huge relief for you. Will you be transferring 1 or 2 embies?
Mon - congrats on your 1 embie on board. I'm sorry you didn't quite get the result you're after. I am sending you LOADS of sticky vibes for the lil' one that did make it. C'mon lil embie - hang in there! Would you mind pm'ing me that artice you mentioned? I think I need it! My attitude
has been pretty neg the last few days.
Shan - thinking of you and your embies!!
Smithy - best of luck for your scan tomoz. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you.
Bec & BabyB - thinking of you as you start your cycles, and throwing a bunch of babydust your way. Good luck girls!
HB - sounds like Antonia is doing wonders for you. I may have to look her up one day. I do hope you catch that eggie this month.
Scan and BT yesterday for me showed all is progressing as hoped. It was mainly to check (early on) if there were any signs of of OHSS, as I have Polycystic appearing ovaries (border-line), but all is A'ok! The drugs are starting to knock me around a bit 'though. I don't remember the last time I felt this tired and grumpy. I am having to exercise a great deal of self control when at work to ensure I don't take it out on my staff or especially my customers!!! I've had a constant dull headache too, but it hasn't bothered me too much.
DH is doing really well with my injections (& is loving feeling like he's doing something!). He was so nervous for the first one (VERY cute!).
    Have a great day all!

    Hi all!
Sonya - Great News! Congrats!!! Sending more positive vibes!
Megan - great news on your embies! Praying they all keep growing healthy!
Shannon - my BBs are killing too! Hating the crinone for that - aching as I type! Have you also been getting cramps! I have been getting them on and off too!!
Smithy - good luck for tomorrow! It will all be fine!
Arielle - glad to hear scan and BT all went well. Wow didnt know they could check for OHSS signs early on ... will have to ask as I also have polycystic appearing ovaries ... I am wondering if that has anything to do with me over responding to drugs? Made me feel moody too! Are you drinking heaps of water! I was doing around 3L a day - that helped.
Rols - how is DW (will make sure to PM you and Ari the article) is she still tired!
Bec, BB, HB and anyone else I missed ... good luck with your TTC!
    Baby Dust all ROUND!

Hi Mon! My FS said that if you have polycystic appearing ovaries then you are at a slightly higher risk of OHSS, and will often respond quite quickly to the drugs. This is why she chose to start me on a slightly lower dose of Gonal-F and to monitor me earlier. Apparently they like to keep the Oestrogen level b/w a certain range the whole time you're on Gonal, and if it gets too high then they start to have concerns about OHSS. My Oestrogen is all good thus far. Looks like you too were started on a lower dose (probably for the same reason), but they bumped it up when they saw all was progressing ok and you weren't showing any signs of OHSS. Not sure if it is standard to double the dose like they did with you (would anyone else know?), but no doubt they will probably do it a little differently next time for you (hopefully next time is when you're trying for baby #2).
Hope those cramps settle down soon for you. Thinking of your poor BB's too.
    Take care
    Arielle

Kell, I was the same on the pill. I was incredibly moody. I am sure I would have had nausea but I don't know because I always took it just before bed so that I would hopefully sleep through any icky tummy feelings.
I know from taking the pill years ago, I always suffered nausea on it when I took it in the morning. I was glad I was able to fix that by taking it in the evening.
