    Evening Ladies

Have been on a break for the last 6-7 weeks, but thought it was time to get back into BB. I'm not even going to attempt personals as too much is happening in here, but just wanted to stick my head in and say that I'm back.

Hi to all the ladies I know from previous cycles, and hi to everyone I don't know too.

By way of a quick update, have started a stimulated FET cycle and am on CD3 today. I tend to have irregular cycles, so wanted to do a stim FET to have more control over ovulation (here's hoping all goes to plan). Started gonal-f injections last night on a dose of 75IU. A stim FET is also designed to help build up my lining which tends to be on the thin side. Oh... so many problems, it makes me wonder how anyone can fall pregnant naturally. No dates set yet, but I should be having first BT/scan sometime next week.

Good luck to all the girls in the TWW (I know some of you from previous cycles). Here's hoping you all get that long awaited BFP.

Congrats to Lise on your BFP today. Am very happy for you and hope that your luck rubs off on me.

And good luck to all the girls in here whatever stage of your cycle.

Looking forward to catching up on everyone's progress. It may take a while but I'll get there.

    Wishes xoxo

    Evening ladies,

Apologies for the me post before the personals, but want to say a big thanks for all your support and good wishes. I'm overwhelmed at the generosity of spirit you've all shown and have had a little tear. At this stage we have a scan with FS booked in for Nov 6, and we should know then if we're expecting double trouble or not! I've tried googling hcg levels, but to be honest, i'm not really sure what i'm reading, so i'll just have to wait and see

Do you know i've only just realised that if I scroll all the way down to the bottom I can see everyone's posts? I've been toggling between two pages trying to remember what everyone is doing...

motherhood here i come - what a frustrating situation to find yourself in with FS AWOL just when you really need him. I totally agree with Meg, and particularly her thoughts on googling every symptom we do/don't have. Sometimes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, so i'd bug FS and the nurses with all your questions until you've found your answers.

meg - congrats on EPU! 8 eggs collected is a good number, and all 8 fertilised is fantastic! with ET on Friday.

coral - glad to hear you're looking after yourself and keeping OHSS at bay. And sounds like the scientist is very positive about the transfer on Saturday, so will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

airline - hope you're taking care of yourself after EPU. Good results

tracy - sorry to hear you're feeling crappy this week I know it's such the cliche thing to say, but quality over quantity. Sounds like your follies were a good size, so will be praying all goes well.

Nix - glad you're continuing to feel better.

Emerald Star - hope you're going okay!

To everyone i'm missed, hello and hope all is going well. I hope you'll allow me to continue lurking to see how all you wonderful ladies are going

    Morning Ladies,

Just a quick one from me today as things are a little busy at work so this is a bit of a selfish post !

Firstly, thank you all for all the well wishes regarding my little eggies! It's so good to have all of this support from you lovely ladies who understand this crazy process!

wishes - Welcome back and Good Luck with the FET cycle!

AFM - Have just spoken with the scientist for an update on my little ones this morning and I must admit that my tummy started getting butterflies when I saw the number flash up on the mobile!

So, here is the current update:

    1. I was advised that although we haven't officially lost any yet, 2 did not appear to be doing anything so it is probable that we will lose these 2.

    2. There are also a few that do not appear to be very healthy (I forgot to ask how many !).

    3. The reminder can be classified as being average, although we have 4 really good ones in there - yay!!!

Just spoke with DH and we have both agreed to look at it as though we have 4 on the go.... (this is mainly to avoid a disappointment similar to our last cycle where on day 5 we thought we had eight to freeze to only find out a few days later that we only froze 2!)

Coral - that's a good position to be in and a good outlook - by the sounds of it you should have 4 and if you get more then that will feel like a bonus.

Its good they ring you and keep you updated with hwo they are going. I never got any of that but then we were a 2 day transfer so maybe there was not much time.

Lise - of course you should keep lurking - I think an update from you now and then woudl be good too to see what happens when you finally get a BFP - I know there are other threads for that, but for us who feel like we have travelled the journey with you its nice to still hear how you are doing.

    Unhappy Need some reassurance ladies!!`

Sorry in advance for the no personals.

Am still feeling quite down and depressed about my estrogen levels and the up in Puregon from 375IU to 450IU.

Still no side effects what so ever other than being extremely tired and having a slight headache. To be honest, am putting these feelings down to the cries I had yesterday and even earlier today in the toilet at work (a colleage was rude and that got me started).

I have a question. How on earth can I know that my estrogen levels are going the way they should be without having my BT or US till Sat morning. I wish there was a way I could find out just to put my mind at ease. Im not feeling very positive at all and this will only be my first US . Wish I could go back to cycle number 1 when I knew nothing at all.

Hmmmm what to do ladies, what to do. I think I need to talk to the counsellor.

Forgot to add, not even my lovely week long holiday to Fiji I booked yesterday is helping to keep my spirits up. And its not that long till we go either .

Hey motherhood - I've only done one stim cycle and in that time they only did US no BT for me so I would not have even been aware of my estrogen levels anyhow. I know it is hard but i think you just have to roll with it and leave some trust in your FS. You don't want to be having BT too often and if you are really nervous insist on having another US before then - however if you're next one is booked for Sat that really is only a couple of days away. You have to give the drugs a chance to work too.

Given the hard time you are having I think you should call the counsellor - if you are happy with getting soem helpful words over the phone or if you can go in person - that is what they are there for and if she thinks there is something to worry about she can assist you in speaking with those who are expertsand can help put your mind at ease.

It sux hey - this whole ride is just exhausting I know. I hope you are feeling better soon. Just remember worrying yourself can't be helping your body focus its energy on where you really need it so try and chill. Easier said than done on some days I know. xx

    Thanks ladies.

Its just hard this time because of the cancellation last time. Thats how I see it anyway. Although, am thinking that on top of my previous experience, maybe the 450IU's is also playing a role because if I stop and think about my day today, I have been in tears, then fine, then in tears etc. Maybe its the hormones hey!!!

Will try and keep my chin up and as Nix said, its only a couple of days away.

    Good Evening Ladies,

Lise - again a bit congrats on your BFP. So happy for you and DH. Can't wait to find out if it's double trouble!

MotherhoodHIC - Sorry to here that you have been having a tough time. Nix had some great advice, you need to try and stay positive and focus your energy where you really need it. Good luck chilling, maybe a good girly movie to take your mind off it all.... All the best for your scan on Saturday, I hope you get the results your after. Oh and Fiji sounds exciting!!

Tracy - Good luck with your trigger, shame you have to do it at work. All the best for your EPU Saturday.

Wishes - welcome back hon. I hope you enjoyed your break and are feeling nicely rested.

Nix - stick with it hun. It's a numbers game and hopefully it will be your turn soon.

Meg - Congrats on your little 8 embies.... 8 out of 8 is a fantastic result, they must be good quality eggs! Good luck with your ET tomorrow.

Coral - 4 is a great result, they are probably the strongest little fighters that you would want to transfer anyway. Any extra's are a bonus. Good luck with your ET Saturday.

Airline - 9 eggs is a fantastic result. I hope they are strong little ones, plus that DH is looking after you and you are recovering well.

SonjaLouise - I am posting in both this and the TWW thread. I have always taken double posting to mean that you shouldn't copy and paste exactly the same post in both treads. It's only natural that they would overlap a bit. My fingers and toes and everything is crossed for your BT tomorrow.

Emerald - Hi, hope you are well hon. When is your next cycle?

A big hello to anyone I have missed and those lurking.

motherhood here I come ~ sorry to hear that you are not happy with how your cycle is progressing so far. During my one and only stim cycle I never had a BT so was not privvy to my estrogen levels. I believe you have already received some good advice on what to do to put your mind at ease. Try to relax - I know that's easier said than done. I am sure you are in good hands. Hang in there.

Nix ~ how are you feeling? I noticed you are contemplating another stim cycle. GL with what ever you decide to do.

Tracy ~ How exciting trigger tonight and EPU booked for Sat! Yay! GL with the EPU and I hope they collect lots of eggs.

Coral ~ What an amazing result from EPU. It sounds like you have lots of good quality embies to "load" now or freeze for another time. Hopefully you wont need the frozen ones for a while yet. When is ET?

lise ~ I am so happy to hear about your BFP. It really gives the rest of us hope that it is possible to achieve our dreams. Hope the scan goes well on the 6th Nov!

wishes ~ GL with your FET stim cycle. I am curious to know how a FET stim cycle works?? Might have to do some research on the internet

sonjaloiuse ~ GL with the BT tommorrow!!! How exciting! Got fingers & toes crossed for you! Hope we can add your name along with lise on the October Wall of Fame!

mitf ~ how are you surviving the TWW? BT on Monday! Any desire to POAS before then?
Hope we can add your name along with lise on the October Wall of Fame!

emerald star ~ hope you are well. Hope the time goes quick for you so you can start your next cycle! Bring it on!

A big hello to everyone else!

AFM ~ I had my ET yesterday morning. This was probably the least painful step in the whole IVF process. Anyway we transferred 1 x 4 cell embie. The FS said it was pretty sticky so we are hoping it literally does stick! We collected 5 eggs of which 3 fertilised. However by day 2 (day of my transfer) we only had 2 left. The 4 cell embie was transferred and we were hoping the 2nd embie would divide into a 4 cell embie so we could freeze for later. Unfortunately this little embie didn't make it. So now we have one on board and are that this is the one. Otherwise its back to back stim cycles if the FS approves. I have been experiencing some serious cramps not sure if its lingering from the EPU procedure or the crinone. Either way the nurse said it was normal to experience cramping.
My BT is on the 06 Nov - however I won't be able to contain myself and will no doubtedly POAS two days before

Helloo all. a bit of a selfish one i'm afraid..soo tired can't look at screen for long.
Last night had the worst night sleep in a long time, 3 hours consecutive, and insomnia with 'restless legs' (if anyone knows what that is)...except it was restless body. Awful, awful, awful. All of yesterday I'd felt really tender/bloated/horrible, but had no other symptoms so pretty sure not OHSS.
Anyway, today forced myself to go for a walk with the pooch and it was wayyy too hot, but nice to get fresh air. Had shower and made myself presentable difficult when you feel like a whale, and went to the mall with DH. Seems I also awoke with a minor cold, but although down below felt better, my head/eyes felt yuck. Plus my stomach (literally stomach, up high under boobs) has felt odd all day. I decided to wear a sarong as my bloated body didn't want any constriction..and beached myself on the sofa for a few hours. Felt better but still don't feel 'right'. I know I got more eggs but not that many more.........last 2 cycles, I was pretty much right as rain day of EPU, let alone next day.

Right I've gone on enough, sorry feeling a bit sorry for myself. DH is looking after me though. Results today...8 good eggs......6 fertilised. So awaiting tomorrow's phonecall.

to one and all, thanks for listening/reading/being bored x

airline - rest up and take care of yourself...those embies are gonna need you to be 100% on ET....things are looking good, so chill and let DH spoil you.
