M2B - I had a really high progesterone reading when i had my BT and a low HCG so i had to wait till my progesterone dropped. My progesterone was at 260 first BT on a monday then dropped to 34 by wed. It has to get right back to 1 or 2 before AF arrives which for me was by the sat. So i guess it depends on how high your progesterone reading is. GL for friday there is still a chance!!
Hi Ladies
Just keeping it short today as Im at work. Dont worry about the ranting - I really appreciate your comments and suggestions. Ive decided that if there is no referral in the mail tonight for a BT Im going to ring my nurse tomorrow and get fiery. Ill get her to fax a referral to my pathology and get a BT ASAP. They might not tell me much, I probably really need a HB to know for sure but it might give me more of an indication.
Renee ~ all the best hun, FX
Mum-2-be ~ Dont give up hope just yet but its always good to think ahead in terms of what if. Im glad you have those little snowbubs anyway as backup. And if it is a chem preg you have gotten that 1 step closer. Still for you!
Lori ~ Hi and welcome. All the best, I think I would do exatly the same as you if I were in your situation so I say go for it! Good luck!
Hi to everyone and thanks once again for all your support xo
loops: gday chick your bt might give you an indication if your hcg levels double it should mean good news yes? I hope to hear a good message from you when you get your results.
AFM: just plodding along on the pill keeping myself busy finished the tv cabinet today and it's inside and looks great onto the next time consuming project. Can't wait till may
For those who went through iui what was the procedure you went through what drugs/injections were you on? and how was it all emotionally ohh and another question when they do the transfer are you awake? Cheers guys I have so many questions
sorry been quite busy at work and for those I miss I'm really sorry
Loops12 glad your being so calm about everything definately ring for bloods tomorrow also why cant you see your FS any earlier?
trueblue IUI isn't that bad apart from the injections(they may want you to do after the transfer) it all depends on your treatment what they give you but you'll have a scan too see how your follices are growing you'll probably do some hormone testing at home to see when your ovualate pretty much like a preganancy test maybe a blood test is the hormone tests aren't working. DH will go in and do his business then they will insert it inot you a few hours later (its a bit like having a pap test)
AFM well went to see my immunologist so am one step closer he thinks he knows how to treat me which is great but had a do a few more blood tests today to rule out problems with kidneys etc. It also comforting to know that my embryos are trying to latch on but my body isn't letting them so I now have to wait about 3 weeks to see him again with the final test results coming in then its time to start again. I may make my next cycle in April depending on the treatment otherwise its May for me
hi to everyone who is new since I was in here and there are a few.
Hi Trueblue, sorry to see you in here.
I'm still trying to get myself up to speed with where everyone is at, so I will just for everyone for wherever you are at.
AFM, have had a pretty good start to my first IVF cycle. No issues with the Synarel (except that awful taste at the back of your throat after about 5 mins) and the puregon injections have been ok, onto the third day of them now. Had a bit of an upset stomach at first, but not sure if its a side affect or just something I ate?? I am due for another BT tomorrow morning to see how things are going and I think another couple of days after that it will be BT and scan every second day to monitor levels and follie growth. What sort of monitoring do others have leading up to EPU? Due to my background (PCOS and resistance to clomid) they are taking it very slowly for me and I am only on a dose of 125IU atm. I am taking the approach that since they are starting slow and my body doesn't like to cooperate, my EPU will be on the CD16 end of the CD12-16 scale they told me is the usual time for EPU, which is right around Easter for the ET. Which means we won't be able to go down south to spend Easter with DH family. Oh well I know they will understand. it will be a very good reason to not visit!
I'm new to BellyBelly and thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm currently in the TWW, having had two embryos transfered on 9 March, and my BT is this Saturday.
I am trying not to obsess about it, but boy it is difficult!
I really tried to optimise our chances this time, keeping stress levels down, doing acupuncture etc and am feeling positive, but at the same time not wanting to think too positive!
I have been reading back through some of the recent posts in this forum and just wanted to say that you are all incredibly strong women.
I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better.
I have been quite busy so haven't had a chance to get on lately...however i was thinking about Loops today and thought i'd check in...
Loops - I was hoping to read some good news, but looks like they are still stuffing you around...i agree with all the other ladies....GET HEAVY!!! I will be lurking to see what happens...my prayers are with you hon!
Ladies sorry, no other personals..but why aren't there more names on that list!!!!
Looks like i will have to pray a little harder for you all and sprinkle more
and ....i'm can already feel some positivity coming...
AFM - well, yesterday had a massive bleed, and thought everything was all over...clinic got me in straight away and after all that trauma, the little peanut was still there safely in its sac and its little heart beating away....i am still exhausted after the emotional rollercoaster yesterday and have been taking it easy all day...looks like this pregnancy is going to be full of hurdles right throughout!
