Emerald Star - glad today went well - next Thursday will come before you know it. I have only once used an HPT and that was last cycle. I was going insane waiting for the blood test and am happy I did it as it's way too dramatic for me to have to ring to get dissapointing news. I felt prepared as I already knew I wasn't pregnant but just had to go through the process. Here's hoping for some double lines for you v.v.soon!
murraycod - my embies are all three dayers - I had four left and my doc doesn't do blasts for less than 5. I guess I'm glad he doesn't because one of them turned into my DD. The thaw rate at my clinic is 70-80% for the process mine went through, but for any I have frozen from now it's 90% so I think thaw rates are getting better each year. Glad to hear you are in a good place too.
littlegem_98 - I sometimes wish we lived in the US so I could put more than one embie back at a time - of course I don't want twins, but just to increase my chances a bit

Emerald - see now you put the idea in my head and the tests in the bathroom cupboard were screaming at me..... I POAS....BFN I had a 2dt on the 27th. So I'm feeling pretty down even though it's possibly too soon and I shouldn't have done it in the arvo. I'll do another one Monday but i'm not feeling so positive anymore. Guess it's better to be prepared.
Aw now I feel bad! Seriously I would have caved anyway.... It's all part of this hideous 2ww process. Please don't feel bad!!!! You have more important things to be focusing your energy on ok you have been great to me....you all have! Don't know what I'd do without u xxx
I'm am new to these forums and was pointed in this direction. I am 26 yrs old and have been married for 3 yrs. DH and I have been TTC since June 08. DH tests showed he has a high morphology level with only 1% being "normal". We were both pretty shocked. Since then we have done 2 rounds of IUI both unsuccessful.
We have also done 1 round of IVF in oct/nov last year. We had 18 eggs removed, 9 fertilised but we only ended up with 1 come ET time, hence none to freeze.
I am currently on my 3rd day of injections on our 2nd round of IVF and have a scan on Friday to see how things are going.
I have been reading the journeys of others and it is so releaving to read that others are experiencing the same emotional rollercoaster as i am.

I am not completely sure of the whole process for a blastie, all i know is that because they have a pocket of fluid in the middle, they take the fluid out before freeze so the cells don't crystalise, then at thaw time they have to put fluid back....wel thats what I understand, so only 50%thaw rate for us. But thats ok, we understand the pros and cons, we aren't putting our hearts on our sleave for the FET, we know we are able to do a full Stim cycle in April/May if things don't work out XX

Loops you are right the year is going quick. At NewYears, I felt a little bewildered, because i had focused soooo much on TTC, I accomplished nothing else for the year, absolutely nothing to show for 2009, I hope this year is different!X

WAH HOOO!!!! AF has arrived! i know i wont be this happy come next month if she show's her head... but rang my clinic and left message ,hopefully 8 am isnt to early for them. so here goes. i get a place and hopefully be our month! 1 question, last cycle while in the the 2ww , (im like some of you guy a poas addict lol) , any way i did get two faint line's sore breast and really tired, i felt like i sorta knew... but started employment that involved lifting, 2 day later poas but there was only 1 line, I still think this was due to the new job, which i left 2 days after.. does anyone think the same or did the 2ww just send me crazy??? ps i must add, my clinic made mine the 3 ww too!!!
Just a quickie from me - had more bloods and scan today. E2 has shot up to 13000 and lots of good sized follies. SO trigger in 15 mins ready for EPU on Tuesday morning. Scary and exciting!!!
littlegem_98 - wow do you have to get a spot in your clinic or they won't take you? FX that all goes well - funny how we get excited about AF one month then the next devastated by it.
bj*81/Emerald Star - HPT are evil! I bought 100 online when I was trying for the first 3 years, I went through so many and never saw anything, including when I had an early miscarriage and should have. Can't say that I won't use them again though as they make the last few days of the wait better because at least it's not a shock when you have to have the BT.
MelissaI- woohoo - hope to hear about lots of eggies from Tuesday!

AFM - I told my hubby I need something to look forward to as I am home this year with our DD and I would prefer to work part-time at least but as my job is really a full-time job I am taking another year off and will go back when she's 2 (assuming I am not pregnant by then). Going a bit stir crazy as I am so used to working so said I want to plan a holiday and he agreed. Nice to have something to look forward to as I don't think I can handle too many IVF attempts this year (she says knowing that it's not over yet!)
This is going to be really quick ladies as I am flat chat atm just thought I would let you all know scan on Thursday went well I am unsure LOL I was told to come again Monday to see if any had matured so I am going tomorrow and seeing how many we have for possible EPU on Friday at the earliest FS's exact words were " well it will be interesting to see how many of these mature " so unsure what that means till tomorrow... I will be back on tomorrow after scan and will catch up on personals then!!! CYA LADIES AND GL

Well my morning was interesting had a scan to find out there are 20+ follies growing with an increased rate of OHSS once again but I decided to still go through with EPU and see what happens after and we will freeze and wait till next cycle if I puff up again (which I am absolutely petrified of) So if all goes well transfer will be next wednesday

I agree with you about your thaughts on having a heavy physical job, I am a nurse and sometimes have to work in the nursing home next door to the hospital which I don't like, not because of the oldies, but because of the heavy work and unpredictable behaviour. I took the whole TWW off but I think it did not do me anygood sitting at home in my self induced depressive state!! Mabey I will just make a conserted effort to take it slow and easy so I can go back to work after 1 week XXXX

I have been going well, thanks murraycod. The jabbing is going fine, Everyday i am getting more and more low pelvic pain, just like ovulation pain but x10 I am over the sniffing though, get quite bad headaches using it. Hopefully only a few more days of using it!
