trueblue I was excited when thing moved on, hope everything continues to progress for you to the goal of a BFP.

Kass yes I know what you mean, but I suppose being excited helps us stay positve. That guarantee thing would be great.

Marie I was knocked out totally so manybe it depends on the clinic. Marie I have been there before too with the baby talk and you cant be included it. I normally go for things like, TV shows ones on past 8:30 to try change the conversation. Cooking if you are into that, a lot of mums like to swap reciepes etc

Saraz I thought 5 day ones had a better chance too. Thats even what a hubby waiting for his wife on a 2nd cycle said to me.

Thanks for the welcome loops, there is quite a few of us in here. I think people sometimes doint know what to say so say the 1st thing that comes to mind. Sometimes it might be better if they said nothing or were honest and say I dont really understand what you are going through etc etc but I hear as to listen. IYKWIM.

christinej as said it depends on follie size and type of cycle too. I did a down reg cycle which takes about 60 days all up. On Melb IVF website there are charts with approx collection dates. Maybe check there.

Wantaminime I know the pin cushion feeling and when I hoped on the scales at hospital today I was 5 kilos more than home. So bloated I know hospitals scales can be different than home but 5 kilos. Good luck for blood test and scan.

Kass hope the 2ww going quickly, and you get a BFP.

I had my OPU today, got 5. The doc that filled in was great as were all the staff I dealt with. Roll on Wed for my transfer. Sorry if I missed anyone still a bit tired groggy.

ChristieJ ~ Im sorry I cant really remember timing too well and what happens when - it all becomes a bit of a blurr after a while LOL. But I think you're right, about day 12or 13 - just prior to ovulation. I have to drive two hours to my clinic as well, can be hard. Good luck hun, hoping it all works out!

Trishy ~ thanks. Yep you're right - it is that they dont know what to say but yes completely agree that they should just say im sorry and I dont understand. GL, hope they all fertilise and GL for your transfer, FX for you!

True ~ thats cool-I know what dairy farming is like LOL. Its ironic isnt it, i had the same thing when DH and I were farming and doing IUI lol. Go Billy
Have a nice rest this weekend hunni, you deserve it.

hi all.looks like i could very well be busy again in about a month.we are pretty sure our female shar pei is UTD again.grrrrrr,we wanted to wait til next season for them to have another litter of pups and even had puppy knickers on her and i modified some of the kids old bike pants to poke her tail out to wear over the knickers but looks like they managed it somehow.the only time we actually saw them doing anything was after they had been let out to do their business and when they came up stairs i was getting her pants to put back on and our male got ambitious but um was a bit directionally challenged and ended up in the wrong place IYKWIM.
Mum is still having chemo and will be here in bris on tuesday for her planning appointment to start radium later next mnth.kids and i are gonna catch up with her while she is down tuesday.we very nearly got a horse this past week.we would have been given it for DD1(she is the one that is blind in one eye) but decided not to just yet as we would rather have a bit of a vet bill nest egg built up before getting one plus we didnt have any horse gear yet so going to get that all sorted then in 6-12 months look at getting a horse.

Hope everyone else is doing ok and having a good weekend

Trishy good luck with your transfer today I so hope that it all works out ok for you

Kaybee so sorry that you are still in limbo when will you be able to move forward? I cant imagine how you must be feeling at the moment if you need to vent then vent away we are here for you

True hope your scan goes well today and that it isn't another cyst growing

Saraz its your choice who you tell. It doesn't really matter you will get questions either way. I've told my immediate family cause I thought it would make things easier. MY SIL (brothers wife is fab) doesn't ask much but is very supportive mum just waits till I tell her things and is probably the one who deals with all my frustations. The inlaws drove me crazy at the start so in the end I told them I wasn't going to talk about it cause it cuases me more stress and I couldn't afford to be stressed so they now only talk to DH about it and it suits me fine.

Mindhugs hope your still traveling ok and that the little one has snuggled in nice and tight. Don't worry about no symptoms heaps of ladies feel normal and still get a BFP bet your one of them.

AFM well not really excited at the moment getting close to O'ting but DH had a CT scan yesterday cause he's not feeling well so I don't wont to cuase any possible damage to him till we have the all clear that he is ok so I might miss me window. I hope he's ok he has a twin brother who had a few blood clots a few years ago and was not in a good way and was lucky to catch them early on.

    G'day ladies,

I am so over the cold here in Perth.

Trishy - GL with your transfer and FXed for you in your TWW.
Trueblue - Wishing you the best with your scan. I hope it is just some great foliies growing for you and not a cyst.
Terry - Thinking of you and your DH today. Keep us informed as to the outcome of his ct

AFM - I triggered last night ready for EPU Thursday morning. Feeling a bit crampy this morning. The FS said he was really pleased with my BT results. It seems that my body is rallying for me. I personally think it is because I am demanding my body do as it is told and I won't be denied. lol Yes I am a control freak. I tell my DS often I am god and my word is law. Doesn't seem to cut it so much now he has his license. But at least it means I have a driver for tomorrows collection. He hates it when I cal him James. lol

Have a good day all. Everyone I know I have forgotten I hope you are keeping well and relaxed in whatever stage you are up to.

    Cheers

had my transfer, only two made it to day 5 so we transfered both. The doctor said one was fantastic great size and cells and the other was not so great and smaller. So I am calling them DeVito and Schwarzenegger's (Twins). I got to see them on the screen before they put them in, that made me cry. Going to have a nap now

    Hey ladies,

Things all seem to be going so well in here at the moment.

Trishy - all the best for the TWW - when is your bt? Hope danny and arnold are making themselves at home in there. I love your response to your know-it-all colleague. I haven't snapped at anyone yet, but am getting sick of laughing and trying to sound carefree when people ask when I will be UTD.

Trueblue - what a relief, I can understand your excitement. Look like this will be your month! FX

Wanta - sounds like everything's doing the right thing over in your corner too. Hope tomorrow's epu goes smoothly - have you got anything nice planned for afterwards?

Terry - so sorry to hear that DH isn't 100%. I guess his twin's situation could have given them a bit of a heads-up so they will have a good chance of finding anything early enough to catch.

As for my 'living in limbo' state - my hcg is still rising but have to wait for a scan next wednesday to confirm there's no heartbeat (there's a tiny 3% of a baby in there apparently). So, have to continue with pessaries and pills and pg symptoms, knowing that it won't result it anything.

    Take care girls
