Sarah, regarding acupuncture, I've always had a needle phobia. I started acupuncture in July last year and I love it. I go weekly and it's very relaxing. They're not like medical needles - they're very fine and they don't hurt. For an FET cycle I'd expect to go weekly as normal plus just before and just after transfer. At the start of the cycle, the weekly appointments will work on building up your lining. In the 2ww it's about encouraging implantation and keeping the hormones where they should be. The extra treatments before and after transfer are standard for any IVF or FET cycle. They are supposed to encourage implantation and help the uterus be in the right condition. I usually have my "before" one the afternoon before (because my transfer is normally too early to fit one in that morning) and then I go straight to my acu from the transfer for the "after" one. The only other thing I'd say is that you should try to see an acupuncturist who specialises in fertility. That may be more difficult in a regional area though?
